    James, enjoyed watching your improved xj do so much better for you and your enthusiasm..i learned more about lower tire pressure..thanks..i’m o”old school” (literally) so my suggestion for a name for your rig is” Cherokee cherry bomb” because i think your going to great do great things and lots of fun..looking forward to the “adventure crews “ next post

    Great wheeling!! Nice drone work, lots of fun and did I see James breaking trail?!? Great!!! James, did you name it yet? If not the Red Guardian then the red sled!!

      I gave trail breaking a shot, not bad for my first attempt, crazy because a year ago I was total garbage in the snow!!

    This stuff I’d just go to six and then four. But start at six. No messing around.

    You have these awesome lightweight XJs and yet you load (at least 2 of) them down with rooftop tents when snow wheeling. Wouldn't it make more sense to take the tents off before hitting the snow (or mud or sand)? Unless you plan to camp overnight, of course. ?

    • @4WDAdventureCrew
      @4WDAdventureCrew  Месяц назад +3

      To take the tents off requires at least 4 people and place to store them, that’s why we have different setups on Jeeps to blaze trail with light weight XJs and back it down with heavy ones, we always travel as a Crew each Jeep is setup to have everything we need to camp and distribute load between 4 jeeps

    Hey guys, what rims does James have to be running 5 psi? From what I can see, looks like not beadlocks, but I could be wrong. Curious.

    • @00ninja00
      @00ninja00 Месяц назад +3

      Not beadlocks but they look like method bead grips…. I’ve never ran them before, but if they can ride 5psi, then there’s no point of having beadlocks anymore.

    • @4WDAdventureCrew
      @4WDAdventureCrew  Месяц назад +2

      Yes Those are Method Bead Grip Rims and other Jeeps have them. Proven in the snow down to 3PSI only thing bead lock would be better is stopping tire from spinning in the rim.

    • @gosser66
      @gosser66 Месяц назад

      Is James running wheel spacers?

    • @theangrycamper
      @theangrycamper Месяц назад

      @@gosser66 I am not. Those axles with a +25 offset ;)

    • @gosser66
      @gosser66 Месяц назад +1

      @@theangrycamper The reason I asked is because those bead grip wheels don't come in the stock 5x4.5 lug nut pattern, so was wondering how you fitted them to your axles. I'm assuming that you still have the 5x4.5 lug nut pattern, but maybe I'm wrong.
