Yeah, my fastest time is 6:02 with this method. It's probably faster to get it by learning the Speedrun strategy, but that involves a lot of resetting and more skill
Just started learning this boss today and out my my 1st 10 runs I've wiped at least 3x due to not cooking them lmao. I noticed he dropped fish next to the range and I'll start doing that from now on so I've got a reminder as I'm picking them up.
No they're a noob trap. Heals less and there's really no situation where combo eating is better than tick eating. I assume they passed a poll because devs and voters didn't really think about what situation they would actually be useful in
To add to Jawn's reply, I saw someone testing on a stream when they were first added - it also takes 5 ticks to eat (like a regular food) meaning a 10 tick delay before you can attack again, as opposed to the usual 7 of regular food + karambwan outside of CG. Unsure if this has been updated since
I legit noodled about 7 times in a row with 99 mage and the staff when he was on 3 HP and I had no food left, 50 HP...he just kept hitting 13s through prayer and we killed each other in the same tick...so irritating lmao
I feel like this is a bit unrealistic to expect that one can sit down at low hp all the time during fight. you say that t2 armor doesn't give faster completions on average (due to fewer deaths), but you completely fail to recognize that most people won't be getting over 90% completion rate with this method. IDK, it comes off as pretty douchey, and there are some very obvious things wrong here, and it's a classic example of over-reliance on a bad model. Just one example: collecting resources while fighting with the low level monsters is a huge waste of time (6 ticks per mat vs 3). while, yes, you are also doing damage, the monsters follow you, and so you can kite them around as you move (which I see you do to a certain extent, but you don't mention).
Yeah get better at the game. You're not going to get better by spending hours gathering supplies. I'm terrible at this game, it took a lot of practice to actually be good at CG.
@Solo Jawn sure, I'll grant that, but "get good" isn't exactly helpful advice. Most people will get more completions per hour by doing t2 and practicing with that. What is your cg completions vs deaths?
Not sure why the volume is so low, sorry about that. I promise there are no jump scares if you turn the volume up...
3:15 could've also used pestle and mortar on the halberd upgrade for shards!
LOL I had no idea you could even do that...
Good to know ty😊
Appreciate your gauntlet content, it helped me refine my skills more and now I complete CGs with 90%+ success rate!
First run after watching this went from 10min to a 7:42. Thanks dude!
this is great information, I haven't heard another guide say that the tornadoes spawn near the corners
thanks so much for these sick pointers. gonna put them all to use from now on 🙏
instead of dropping the spike, you can grind it for 80 shards
thank you for your contribution! time to do my homework and put these vids to good use
Idk if you will see this since im 3 years late but how are you not getting meleed standing that close to Hunleff for most of the fight?
Can you get 6:30 with this or does that require speed strats like 5:1 and redemption flicking
Thanks for the vid

Damn I want you to teach me how to be good at this content 66 reg kc and 2 cg - already 1 armour seed too :-)
Would you recommend making any crystal paddlefish with the new update now since you can heal a bit faster meaning more dps?

@@dex2156 I still don't think it's been updated

Fr I feel like I always get unlucky on the resource spawns 😢
