Oh, thanks brother. You know, it actually would be really cool and interesting if you actually did sometimes a thing like a "progress report" or something like that.
The amount of time and effort you guys have poured into this project is insane, but with each media release it becomes evident that the grind is paying off. Take your time guys. Im sure it'll be more than worth it. This is shaping up to be a masterpiece of a game.
Are you planning a video about OBM Media review 2023? As usual.I'm really looking forward to the remake. Hopefully, it won't be long before the release. Good luck with the development!
Nice stuff! I'm really impressed to see that this project is still going after all these years! Most Source mods throughout the years are long gone after all. I hope we get a release soon! Keep up the good work!
the scientist zombie reminds of that classic collectors figure made for half life 2 which brings me cool nostalgic memories, keep up the work and I hope the project sees the light.
I just want to say, take your guys time with this project because y’all are doing a lot of impressive work and we know that the outcome will surely pay off
That completely depends if we show off any new level design screenshots this year. The media review videos don't show any new content. It's simply a review of content that was already shown.
Glad to see that this project in development progress. I wish good luck in this hard way! Right now I have only one question - will we have open source code of the product for modding (of cource when this game will realese) ? As I know Crowbar Collective just can't publice Black Mesa source code due to a contract with Valve.
We cannot distribute the source code for the exact same reason as Black Mesa. We simply do not have the legal rights to do so. We plan on having Vscript support though, so it should open up a lot more modding opportunities.

I don't know why, but this showcase seemed to me very sparse. On the last day you decided to show... a gluon gun? That's it? I guess with so little to show, there'll be a release soon? Because in 2021 you showed really a lot of content and it was very interesting to watch, and on the last day you put the game on the Steam page, but in 2022 I didn't see anything impressive :((

this could have been incredibly great, it's too bad the team had to split and if we ever get the full game in the future, i hope there won't be a large quality drop because of the team split
Only 2 people that left were of any real significant value. 90% of them were deadbeats who did little to nothing for the project. For example one of the 3D artists that had been on the team for like 5 years had only created about 10 models in that time; and most of those models I can easily make in a couple days myself.
6:57 I don’t know if you have direct contact with the team or not. But I kind of have a problem with the weapon animations. They feel much too much like generic shooters. I also think the new textures make them look very flat and boring. I think the original animations and look of the guns, showcased before had much more of a half-life charm to them. I also think they looked a little smoother. Maybe I’m being too harsh, but that’s just my opinion.
Hopefully this isn't operation hunt down the Freeman and will be actually W which is really looking to be the case, keep up the good work! One thing to mention though is that the guns look remarkably flat not bad but just kinda low resolution and lack "texture" the recoil and the animations too are just lacking a sort of depth but this is likely just a result of source engine.
and i get it that i dont know how long this stuff takes but the average person would think it'd be done by a year but i guess not is it a team of devs or is it just one dev if one dev then i understand fully of the hold up
Seems like a good remake project.. However my opinion.. too detailed for a half life game, but I wish I had the experience to work on the game.. But those requirements are too much lol
