Havarti is great! I love provolone too..
..yes..im a cheesy carnivore..need my cheese ..i still eat sour cream..need my dairy heavy whipping cream. .i make my own carnivore single sliced bread pieces .(i ground up bags pork rinds ).prepping ahead ,put in large glass jar ..i use a large square glass dish..put in 1/4 cup porkrinds,1/4 tsp baking soda,1 tablespoon melted grassfed kerry gold butter ,1 pasture fed egg (sams club) ,of course (all i buy)in there ..mix together good and spread evenly in dish .microwave 90 seconds .. than scoop out with spatula...make about 6 slices...put in ziplock ..in refrig til need later ..i spread brunsweiger spread on later ..with LOTS homemade mayo ..i make use( extra virgin olive oil) no seed oils (yuck) ..the bread can be little (dry..dense ..DONT WANT CHOKE ON )why need lots of moisture spread on it ( ..just eat and chew well . have some water to sip down if need too .but its really good and filling ! Some time my bread seems idk why ??bitter after taste..but with spreads and if making my poached eggs ,( hate peeling eggs after)why i peel and poach lol 🤣 i dip in egg yolks and or hamburger/bacon grease i made from pan ..kills the bitter after taste..its really filling ! (I make slices up ahead.).because some time ..just not in mood to cook ..i grab slice..slap on some pieces of salami ,choice cheese and extra butter on top .microwave like until cheese melts..quick snack ..yummy ..

Steph! Watched a YT? vid recently were a Dr? said that Calcium supplements were the cause of plaque sticking to artery/vein lining, nothing to do with cholesterol levels! Dunno, but worth exploring. I've missed watching you guys, just binge watched your carnivore journey! Facinating. Heard about it from the Petersons (I'm Canadian;) also I used to be Paleo back in the day. Was interested but not enough to jump in (med resistant depression, 60 yo now, yadda yadda). I'm feeling that old urge again to try, seeing how happy and healthy you both are. 🤔 🚂?

I’ve heard this talked about in the Carnivore community.
Calcification if arteries isn’t caused by a supplementing calcium.. but always look for other opinions.
But I would maybe go on a live Q&A with Dr.Ken Berry or Prof. Bart Kay. 👍

I buy those eggs, too, and they always come out perfect in the pressure cooker! 3 minutes high pressure, 3 minutes natural release, then into the cold water they go. When I put them in the pressure cooker I lay them on their sides on the trivet (because I think it ensures they cook evenly) and add 1 c water. Peel like a dream every time :-).

Nice! Cool egg cookers…BUT, I hate runny yolks. 😮
Advance prepping is good, and easy for those with restrictive eating plans.
For those who like ground beef, I get 3x5# of high fat product economically at Aldi’s at a time (wish I could afford grass fed). I do a 5# batch at low temp in a 12” Lodge deep skillet. I have a metal colander I put in a big bowl to dump the pan contents in to drain. Then I add salt, pepper, onion powder before filling 1 gallon zip lock bags for fridge or freezer. It freezes well and goes a couple of weeks. I do separate the fat from meat juice to deal with separately. Usually there is more beef fat than I use which is easily discarded when solidified.
Happy Carnivore, keep up the good work, you are fine examples for those seeking answers in this eating style. 👍

Fat? My fat consumption changes fairly often. My system wants more or less at times. That's added fat of course. Tallow, butter, lard, pork fat.
Too little fat is constipation, which for me is mildly painful, too much fat is incontinence.
Just because you only go once a day or every other day doesn't mean you are constipated. Carnivore is absorbed better by your system. Far less waste to expel. If you have been carnivore over a few weeks all previous waste has been expelled. It's all new waste material now. Depending on your source of food and the amount of processing you may have more or less waste.
I eat hot dogs once a day every other day to ensure I get a movement. Lots of waste in those even though these are pretty clean hot dogs I get. Scared me as a new carnivore and prior IBS/sibo patient to go almost a week with no movement. Willing to eat a little garbage to keep my peace of mind. 😅
