First heard this song during a rain delay at a Blue Jays/Red Sox game at old Exhibition Stadium in Toronto (in 1986 as a 12 year old). I've always loved the genuineness of Stan's voice in the song. To me, an 80s classic,
That's your opinion. If you visit Stan's website, it turns out that Eddie Money who did a remake of One Chance) later apologized to Stan for f***ing up his song. I believe they're equally as good. Stan didn't win an award for One Chance for nothing :)
