    00:47:03 *🎭 The "Spellbound" experience, similar to a chef's table with unlimited cocktails and multiple shows, is highly recommended and costs $149.*
    00:47:45 *🚬 The ship's casino is a smoking area with excellent ventilation inside, but the smell of smoke can be detected near the elevators.*

      Thank you so much John and Julie, she really is a stunning ship, and you are absolutely right, the Dome is stunning, we weren't sure before we got on, but seeing it in person. Wow.

    Great detailed video, looks like you got lots of nice “SUNNY” days! Now that Diamonds International is on, was there still an Effy? Wondering where Jim will buy my honking Tanzanite ring 😂

    • @SuiteNatured
      @SuiteNatured  10 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks Jo. No Effy on board so Jim might have to pop in to DI. They did have some HUGE Tanzanite stuff. We are sure it was not too expensive 😂
      You are in the draw for the magnet Jo. If you win it we might even hand deliver it 😀

      When we have had a few too many cocktails the night before we navigate our way around we sometime impress ourselves when we watch it back doing the voiceovers 🤣🤣

      We can't wait to see it open too. We saw them testing the rope walk section and some other bits while we were on an it looked great fun.

    This looks an amazing ship! Hope to get on her one day. We have never done a Princess cruise. Would you recommend?

      Hi Lisa. We absolutely would 100% recommend Sun Princess. She is amazing. But equally other Princess ships are great too. Our next cruise is on one of their older and smaller ones, Ruby but all of them have had the medallion makeover now too.

    Thank you for the tour and you two are very engaging. As for the ship, I don't know. It unfortunately is following that taupe/gray/beige muted look with the sterile lighting and I just feel like this design phase needs to pass. I don't know. The dome area may be brilliant and I'm sure things look far nicer on the actual ship vs. filmed but I'm finding myself not drawn to a lot of what I'm seeing. The deck areas look really crowded with stuff as well. I like that it has some intimate areas and venues. It's just the decor is just too trendy and I find it kind of dull.

      Thank you so much Benjamin. We completely agree that the modern styling on a lot of newer ships can be a bit uninspiring. Not to say they are all bad, but we do like the classical look on ships such as QM2 too. The dome is MUCH nicer in person, and we really did enjoy Sun, and will go on her, or Star Princess when she launches.

    Sea View area - sure.
    The same area, but more forward on deck 16, is called Sea View Terrace.

    • @michaels3003
      @michaels3003 10 месяцев назад +1

      The lowest, most forward area, on deck 9, is a small private recreation area for the crew. It has a small pool and two hot tubs. The time marker is 16:07.

    • @michaels3003
      @michaels3003 10 месяцев назад +1

      In the front section of the ship, there are private indoor areas on all decks below deck ten.

      Spot on Michael, we saw the crew relaxing in there quite a few times.

    • @SuiteNatured
      @SuiteNatured  10 месяцев назад +1

      We are not sure we saw these private indoor areas on all the decks below 10, we will have to go on again.😉

      @@SuiteNatured , I recommend watching the long documentary about new MSC ship (new at that time). It was released a few years ago, but it is still relevant. A copy of it may be found on YT. "Secret Life of the Cruise" is a part of the title. Have you seen it?

    Do you happen to know if the “dome forward” glass has UV protection? (WHY WOULD you know that??? Ha. But I’m curious.)
    Also: O2H. Very funny. Did anyone else catch that little joke? 😂

    • @SuiteNatured
      @SuiteNatured  10 месяцев назад +2

      We are fairly sure we did hear from a Princess rep onboard that the Dome Forward /Sea Terrace glass is UV protected, but we will try and find out for sure.
      Thanks for spotting our Jungle Cruise O2H joke reference ;)
