Amen! For those who walk in the light, Jesus blood covers them and they cannot be condemned.1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 ¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

7 “Blessed are they whose lawless acts are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.”
      (Romans 4:7-8)
This quote comes from Psalm 32. The context says this:
1 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.b
2 Blessed is the man whose iniquity the LORD does not count against him, in whose spirit there is no deceit
      (Psalm 32:1-2)
The passage then goes on to say:
      3 When I kept SILENT my sin, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night my strength was drained as in the summer heat. Your hand was heavy upon me;
      (Psalm 32:3-4)
In these verses the Psalmist "kept silent" and refused to acknowledge, confess and repent of his sins. When He resisted the Holy Spirit CONVICTED Him which means to impress upon his conscience his guilt. Finally the Psalmists relents and surrenders:
5 Then I ACKNOWLEDGED MY SIN acknowledged my sin to You and DID NOT HIDE my iniquity. I said, “I will CONFESS my transgressions to the LORD,” and You FORGAVE the GUILT of my SIN
      (Psalm 32:5)
Here confession of sin is followed by forgiveness from guilt. Notice how close this is to
      1 John 1:7-9

I was trying to watch this last night while it was streaming live on RUclips because I wanted to call in but the live stream stopped after about 18 minutes. It is truly sad that people fight against the word of God. Kenneth had all the Scriptures out of context and was clearly contradicting verses. Why are people so wrapped up in Calvinism when they see that it is false doctrine?
Regarding Romans 5:12ff, Kenneth seems to be equating sin with death. This passage does not teach that we inherited Adam's sin. It says that death, which is the consequence of sin, is what spread to all men because all sinned. Verse 14 says that death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam. It is not possible to replace the word "death" in these verses with the word "sin". Verse 15 says, "[b]ut the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many". Adam is being compared to Christ. Adam's sin brought death to all the same way Christ brings eternal life to all. This is death vs. life, not sin vs. life. Verse 16 says, "and the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned." "That which" is referring to death. It could not refer to "sin" because then the verse wouldn't make sense, for example: "And the gift is not like [sin] which came through the one who sinned". No way. The verse is saying that the gift, which is eternal life/salvation, is not like death. Verse 17 says, "for if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ". Once again, it is the consequence of sin, which is death and not sin itself, that reigns through Adam. Now some will take verse 19 and say that Adam's sin was transferred to us. But notice that the verse ends saying "so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous". Can we say that Christ's righteousness was transferred to us? According to Ezekiel 18:20ff, the father's sin or righteousness is not transferred to the son, so the answer to that question would be no. Adam's sin is not transferred to us. We personally sin because of choices we make, and we now have the opportunity to be righteous through Christ if we choose to.
I pray Kenneth continues to talk with Johnny so he can learn and accept the truth.

Calvinism is Not a false teaching... maybe false to you because you cannot grasp its concepts?..
      lets look at Romans 5:12
12" Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
what part of this makes you think sin was Not passed from Adam...?
Paul is making a comparison here between death that has passed to all men through Adam and Christ unto whom.. all men have life.
.at the tree in the Garden God told Adam that if they ate they would die... but as we know.. Adam and Eve did NOT die physically.. but spiritually.. so.. Death is a separation from God. they are one and the same..... if one is separated from God.. what are they?... in Limbo?... NO.. they are in SIN... sin is a separation from God.. and so By Adam all men have been separated from God...

    • @jeffcarlson3269

And the belief... is that any who die.. without being cleansed of this original sin.. will die and Go to hell... if we are Not born with the sin of Adam upon us... why do so many claim.. the unbaptized or unsaved are going to hell?.... with only the sins we commit upon us.. all we should have to do is just pray.. and Not be baptized or believe upon Jesus.. why should we.. ?..why do we need to trust in Jesus.. if as 1 John 1:9 tells us He is faithful and just to cleanse us.. from our sins. with no mention of having to trust Him.. or be baptized..?

@@jeffcarlson3269hey donkey. Calvinism is false. John Calvin is a false prophet.
Among the religious teachings today is Calvinism. Calvinism consists of five major points known by the acronym: T.U.L.I.P. All five points were popularized by John Calvin and are contrary to Scripture.
T - otal Depravity. Calvinists teach that we inherit Adam’s sin, thus born totally depraved. The Bible teaches that men are made “upright” (Eccl. 7:29) and that we have no sin until we commit it (Ezek. 28:15).
U - nconditional Election. Calvinists teach a false predestination, that God “elects” certain ones to be saved and the rest lost without man having any part in the matter. The Bible teaches that “whoever fears (God) and works righteousness is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:34-35).
L - imited Atonement. Calvinists teach that Christ did not die for everyone, but only for those individuals God predetermined to save. The Bible teaches that Christ “died for all” (2 Cor. 5:14).
I - rresistible Grace. Calvinists teach that God’s grace is irresistible for the saved ones. That it is impossible to reject the grace of God if you’re of the elect. The Bible teaches that God’s grace has “appeared to all men” (Titus 2:11), but not all are saved (Mt. 7:21). Some resist. (Acts 7:51) Heb 10:26-27 would make 0 sense either.
P - erseverance of the Saints. Calvinists teach “once saved, always saved”, that the saints are preserved and nothing can change it. The Bible teaches the need for faithfulness to the end (Rev. 2:10). To saints it was written, “take heed lest (you) fall”(1 Cor. 10:12).

Check out Demas, left the faith per Apostle Paul. Matthew 7:21, we must obey and do Gods will throughout our life. Doesn't Scripture say it is better to have never known the truth than to obey it and depart from it? ... God is not the author of confusion, its straightforward and simple when we read NT Scripture in whole, not in part. We have assurance when we abide in Christ.

Ez 18: 24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die
Yes, a righteous man can fall and lose his salvation...at which point do you lose your salvation, as the Bible states above, here it is..THE MOMENT YOU SIN, AND DIE BEFORE REPENTENCE TAKES PLACE.
Kenneth said it again, you can go to heaven even if Satan has filled your heart and you lie to the Holy Spirit.

24 Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to COME AFTER ME [like a sheep], he must DENY HIMSELF and TAKE UP HIS CROSS and follow Me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will LOSE IT, but whoever loses his life for My sake will FIND IT [find LIFE]. 26 What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet FORFEITS HIS SOUL? There is no "original sin" That idea came from Augustine who believed that the propensity to sin was passed down organically specifically through inherited sexual desire (concupiscence). Luther and Calvin who were devotees of Augustine replaced this with the idea of imputed guilt. In this scenario, God holds every individual personally responsible for the personal sin of Adam (including infants and the unborn). This is why they continued to baptize infants.

    • @JimiSurvivor
      @JimiSurvivor 6 лет назад

I did not say I do not believe in the Fall the result of which was first spiritual, then physical death. Spiritual death refers to separation, disunion, from the Spirit of God. This was why mankind must be "born again" "after the Spirit." However, the natural disconnect between God and man could not produce hostile enmity until the human being possessed moral consciousness and acted contrary to it:
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men BECAUSE ALL SINNED- 13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but SIN IS NOT COUNTED where there is no law. (Romans 5:12-13)
Verse 12 in Greek is “ἐφ᾽ ᾧ πάντες ἥμαρτον” which means "BECAUSE (of whom - Adam) all sinned" The fact that we sin is a CONSEQUENCE of Adam's sin. In the corrupt Latin text used by Augustine this phrase was translated “in quo omnes peccaverunt,” that is, “IN WHOM [in Adam] all sinned”.
If ALL sinned IN Adam then ALL (even the unborn and children) are guilty of his sin.
"Original sin" as conceived by Augustine of Hippo means that every individual born from Adam is held PERSONALLY responsible for the sin of the man Adam. This is why Augustine and those after him believed in infant damnation. Since fetuses and babies were held personally responsible for Adam's sin which was "imputed" to them they could be justly damned having never committed any sin personally. It is the reason for infant baptism also. The Reformers were hung up on this Catholic doctrine because Calvin and Luther were Augustinian theologians. It is why they continued the Catholic practice of Baptising infants. This is the historical theological meaning of "original sin"
I believe that the ANCESTRAL sin of Adam has caused us all to be born after the flesh rather than the Spirit. Our character is corrupted not because God is blaming us for Adam's sin but because, as a natural consequence of Adam's sin, no one in his line is born after the Spirit. Our defect is not what was added to our nature but what is MISSING.
This being the case, we are not "totally unable" to choose Christ as the Calvinists say. Rather, our bias towards self-centeredness requires that we be persuaded to believe by the Spirit working in concert with the gospel. Because our wills were not rendered INOPERABLE by the Fall we can still choose to believe and obey Him.

If there is not original sin from birth, then why did Jesus not have an earthly father??
Ofcourse there is original sin. It's passed down through the dad's. Which is why Joseph was not Jesus dad. The Bible clearly tells you that sin is not imputed when there is no Law. So since an infant can't understand the Law and it's consequences, the baby is not responsible for it. All babies that die, go to heaven!

In order to use the idea of "Original Sin" to make a doctrinal point you first have to understand exactly what is meant by the term. 43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Nevertheless, Hebrews is instruction for believers, Jews and Gentiles, who had been united together Christ into one body. Although it was addressed to a group of JEWISH believers you cannot say that nothing whatsoever in the book applies to Gentiles. To say this is to deny that for Gentiles, the OT is NOT "profitable for doctrine, reproof, instruction in righteousness."
Look at Hebrews 3:1:Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling,..
What people is this describing? Does it not include ALL Christians or would it ONLY apply to believers with Jewish roots? The warnings of departing from Christ apply to ALL believers.
In 1 Corinthians Paul says the lessons drawn from the OT apply to both Jews and Gentiles:
…10 And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel. 11 Now these things happened to them EXAMPLES and were written down as WARNINGS for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 12 So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to FALL.…(1 Corinthians 10:11)

Sorry Jim, try reading in context. Jesus LOOSES no one nor does he cast anyone out. Refute these simple verses, Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, How long is this seal, Holy Spirit on the believer for? Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. The day of what? So who removes the seal?

    • @JimiSurvivor
      @JimiSurvivor 6 лет назад +1

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).
A seal was a mark of authenticity. Gods mark which he has affixed or attached to us to show that we belong to Him is the Holy Spirit. The idea that nothing can cause a rift in our relationship to the Spirit is proved in this verse. This is what "grieving" the Spirit is all about. So the seal is not an unbreakable weld that holds us to Christ no matter what we do. Seals in the first century were not made of iron but wax that could become detached if the person who bore it did take care of it. If that happened the sealed item would be declared invalid.
The kind of offense that grieve the Spirit are listed in the next verse
31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice (Ephesians 4:31)
The Day of Redemption is when we receive our inheritance of eternal life (Romans 8:23).
Hebrews 3 warns believers not to harden their hearts against the Spirit
Paul in Hebrews three uses the Wilderness generation as a comparison to our walk with Christ. Hebrews 3:7-11 warns us not to harden our hearts and rebel against the Spirit (who is our seal).
12 Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. 13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:12-13)
Their ongoing habit of sin caused the Spirit to bar them from entering their inheritance.
18And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? 19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief (Hebrew 3:18-19).
The "rest" was their inheritance - The Land. Our inheritance is eternal life. Just as they lost their inheritance through having an evil, unbelieving heart so can we lose ours. As they were separated from the Spirit so can we.

Another scripture you have misinterpreted is John 6:37 which in the KJV reads "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will IN NO WISE cast out."
Here is a case where the KJV gets it right and the other translations are ambiguous if not wrong. "IN NO WISE" according to the archaic definition found in the Oxford Dictionary meant: "not at all." It did not reverence the future as the word never does. Rather it is an intense negation.
A close rendering can be found in the NASB
"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will CERTAINLY NOT cast out."
Like the KJV this does not speak of the future but it expresses intensive negation.
What is confusing is that the word "never" can mean something that might happen in the future. The Greek text does not refer to the future instead it uses a DOUBLE-NEGATIVE to intensify the negative much as we would say "by no means."
Notice the double-negative in the Interlinear Greek:
      biblehub.com/interlinear/john/6-37.htm
What Jesus is saying is that those the Father gave him WOULD come to him IN THE FUTURE and WHEN THEY CAME to Him He would BY NO MEANS cast them out. He is not saying that once a person is received into the Lord's fellowship they would never be cast out again. This scripture does not support OSAS

Reading into this Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. It clearly says until the day of redemption. You can only grieve the Holy Spirit before you come back to the Lord. Where in this verse does it say it falls off? it sticks to you till the day of redemption. Dance all around this but you have no legs to stand on. God seals us period. Only way this seal comes off is when God calls the believer home. The seal means ownership. saved people are bought & paid for.It wont fall off due to sin. Jesus is not a liar, man is. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Jesus right here says he looses no one or cast out none. You have nothing to stand on,yet you will come back with other scriptures. again, they will be out of context as well. Jesus is no liar, The one teaching you salvation can be lost is a liar. Look and see what conditions are on God's free gift of salvation.

The first man is calling God a liar. Jesus said, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOVER, believeth in Him, should not perish, but Have everlasting life. How long does everlasting life last? Forever.
If we could save our selves, by good works or keeping the law, then Jesus died in vain. Galatians 2:21. Colossians 2:13 We are made perfect through faith in Jesus who has forgiven us ALL trespasses. We still reap what we sow, and God does chasten His children. John 1:12. But He can not condemn us. John 3:18. We can lose our life, and our rewards in heaven, but not eternal life. First Corinthians 3:11-21. God can not lie. John 5:24. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive our selves and the TRUTH is not in us. All men are sinners. Jesus died for sinners. First John 2:2 and First Timothy 2:4 For God is not willing that any should perish, but that all that should come unto the knowledge of the truth. First Corinthians 15:3-4. That Christ died for our sins, (Which ones) (all of them, past, present, and future, Romans 4:7-8. according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose gain on the third day, according to the scriptures.
The second we believe that Gospel we are sealed by the Holy spirit and are given eternal life. Ephesians 1:13-14 Our guarantee of eternal life. Gods word. John 6:47. Ephesians 2:8-9 Faith is not a work. it is faith apart from works which can not save a sinner which we all are. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. If you can lose eternal life, then you must be able to do something to save yourself. If you can save yourself, then Jesus died for nothing.
The GIFT of God is eternal life. What do you have to do for a free gift? Nothing. Romans 4:5. Let God be true and every man a liar. First Corinthians 1:21 We preach the foolishness of the gospel to save them that believe. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, (First Corinthians 15:3-4) For it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that repents of their sin and is baptized. NO, it is to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Galatians 1:7-9 Though we are an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received from us, let him be accursed. Romans 11:6 AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0. IT IS FREE, or not at all because no sinner can pay his own debt. Since Christ died for my sins, I can not go to hell to pay for them. I have no sins to pay for. The blood of Jesus paid my sin debt in full and I can no longer be condemned. John 3:18 I can be chastened by my heavenly father even to loosing my life, but not the free gift of eternal life by faith alone in Jesus finished work on the cross alone apart from any works.
May Gods word stand. John 6:40. And this is the will of Him who sent me, that ALL that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up on the last day. Gods word.

@@lindahutchens8612 That question, although genuine is misplaced, given that the verse is well known to have been an addition to the gospel account according to Mark. This statement is not my own but even of the earliest church fathers including individuals like Eusebius and Jerome and Clement of Alexandria.
I would state that your question does not come from a wholistic understanding of church history and even verses 9-20.
So your question, although well intended is problematic for several reasons including:
      1. It isn't original to the author.
      2. If you happen to represent the Church of Christ, your position on the remainder of the verses of Mark 16:16-20 are inconsistent with your position on verse 16; as you hold to a consistent view of baptism but not a consistent view of signs and wonders.
      3. If I granted that these were the words of Jesus, you would need to understand how baptism is part of salvation from a 1st century Jewish perspective; for it is not the cause of one's salvation but part of the path of discipleship.
So no, I do not account Jesus as having lied, I do however, account for verses of scripture having been added to account for words of Jesus that were not heard by the original hearers. I also do not hold that the scribe who added these verses to be an evil doer.

This man has no idea what Original Sin is. Original sin was invented by AUGUSTINE to explain why infants had to be baptized. Since they have no sin Augustine made their sin out to be GOD imputing to the infant the sin of Adam to all his decedents. This is why Reformed Churches baptize infants - to free from (original) sin.

The Bible makes the ACT of physical immorality WORSE than a mere lustful thought:
"Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
15 Do you not know that your BODIES are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is OUTSIDE THE BODY, but he who commits sexual immorality sins AGAINST HIS OWN BODY. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

So much of this argument is predicated on if you commit A SIN and don't repent of it, and die immediately afterwards then- are you automatically bound for hell? Given the Scriptures in Hebrews 6, 10, and 2 Pet 2:20 why would a "Christian" be willing to risk it? And yet we do.
King David willfully committed the sin of Adultery, was faced with an unwanted pregnancy then plotted the eventual murder of a innocent man. According to the Law of Moses, these were Capital Offenses punishable by Death. BUT GOD gave King David an opportunity to Repent. David was Convicted of his sin, then Confessed his sin before GOD and was shown Mercy and forgiven, and GOD later referred to David as a "A MAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART" -
In Acts 5: 1-10 Ananias and Sapphira were guilty of Lying and Deception ( lesser sins we think, than fornication, adultery and murder) and Peter says " Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart? You lied to the HOLY SPIRIT.... You weren't lying to us but to GOD. As soon as Ananias ( and later Sapphira) heard these words, they fell to the floor and died."
Ananias and Sapphira were Christians, however if their HEARTS were FILLED with the Devil- could they still be considered Eternally Saved and now in heaven?
JESUS said: "Not everyone who sayeth unto ME, 'LORD LORD" shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he who DOETH the will of MY FATHER which is in heaven"... Matt 7:21-23 and "These people honor ME with their lips but their HEARTS are far from me" Matt 15:8/ Is. 29:13
"But I THE LORD, search the Heart and examine the Mind even to give each man According to his WAYS And According to The FRUIT of his DOINGS." Jeremiah 17:10
so the way I see it, the key to ALL SIN leading towards GOD'S WRATH, is the condition and the ulterior MOTIVES of our HEARTS."
And since GOD is the Ultimate Judge of our hearts, then we need to ask HIM to "Create in
us, a Pure heart, and to renew a STEADFAST spirits within each of us" Ps. 51:10 because
" If we say we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth. But if we Confess our sins to HIM, HE is faithful and just to forgive us and to
Cleanse us from every wrong. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling GOD a liar and showing that HIS WORD has no place IN our HEARTS" 1John1:8-10

Lets take a bible scenario. In first Corinthians there was a believer who was sleeping with his fathers wife. Pau said it was so bad that they should bar him from the church and turn such a one over to Satan to kill is flesh so that his Sprit would be saved in the day of the Lord. First Corinthians 5:5
If we go off and live in sin after we have received the free gift of salvation, God does chasten His children, even to taking our life early. We will lose our rewards in heaven, and maybe our life, but once we have been sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13 We can never be lost. John 6:37 He will never cast us out. John 6:39 Jesus has never lost one. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. We can leave Him, but He will never leave us.
Second Timothy 2:19 The foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His. Romans 8:9 Without the Spirit of God there is no salvation. With the Spirit we can never be condemned. Salvation is a free gift to all that believe on Him as the only way of salvation, because we can not save ourselves by how we live and what we do. That is why Jesus died for us, He loves us, but hates our sin, So He went to the cross to take the punishment we all deserve so that we could be saved by what He did for us.

If your salvation depends on you and how you live, then you are your own savior and Jesus never was your savior. You will die and go to hell because you have never believed that Jesus paid your sin debt in full. First Corinthians 15:3-4 and First John 2:2

Johnny isn't making this "system" up....2Co 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Johnny Robertson yes godly sorrow does produce repentance because it's our sins that Jesus died for. and when a person realizes there guilt and that it was there sin that he died for.there's godly sorrow and you turn to the only way of salvation the Lord Jesus Christ without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin and all who believe are the children of light

One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. Looking this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. Exodus 2:11-12. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them Numbers 20:12. You can loose your salvation. A verse tells us. King James Bible 1 John 1 :7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. IF and that's a big IF. So, you cannot turn aside to live like the filth of the world. That's not living in the light. Living as Christ would have you to live. He knows we fail, but He has made provision to forgive us and let us try again if we mean it. You cannot cannot dress to impress God on Sunday and just be waiting
to live like trash later in the week. Sorry friends. He knows. The verse says you're going to
have problems when it's your turn in line. Surely no one believes God is going to let sin in
Heaven even if someone does believe Jesus is the Son of God.

You missed the emphasis of this verse. Go back and read it again slowly.
The verse literally says "fellowship" is what would be hindered, NOT losing your salvation. Basically saying you'll quench the Spirit. But you don't lose it. Totally two different things altogether.

Matthew 7:21-23 But Lord, Lord, what about all my wonderful works? Why we even cast out demons in your name and did many wonderful works. And then I will tell them, depart from me ye that work iniquity, I never knew you. Not I did know you and now I don't, I never knew you. Jesus tells us in verse 21 why they were not saved. They did not do the will of the Father. John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that all that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
The Gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that he was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.
Galatians 1:7-9 Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let them be accursed. As we said before, so say I again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that which ye have received, let them be accursed.
These men are preaching another gospel that saves no one. It is based on their good works and not on what Jesus has done for us on the cross. It gives the glory to man for saving himself instead of to Jesus finished work on the cross for saving us sinners. They are self righteous hypocrites believing they have no sin. First John 1:8 IF we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
These liars are calling God a liar. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me HATH ETERNAL LIFE.
Don't call my savior a liar. It really upsets me. If it upsets me, think how it upsets God. He is the one that sent His only Son to die for our sins so that we could be saved by what He did for us. Not by what we do. We can not save ourselves. Romans 11:6

It still holds true today. Galatians 2:21 I do not make void the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Keeping Gods laws can not save sinners. Only Jesus blood sacrifice for all our sin can save sinners which we all are to a degree because no one is perfect in the flesh.
We can only accept salvation as a free gift of God by grace, not by anything we do or do not do, our works. This is what so many do not understand. First Corinthians 15:1-4 is the gospel we must believe to be saved. That Jesus died for all our sins. He paid our sin debt in full and when we believe that gospel we are saved, given the Holy Spirit who is our righteousness before God, and He will not longer impute sin to our account. Romans 4:6-8
Romans 4:2 If Abraham were justified by works, he would have something to glory in, but not before God. We can only be justified by faith in Jesus plus nothing. We are born in to Gods family when we believe the Gospel.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation; in whom also, AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION. Once we have been born into Gods family by faith alone in Christ alone, we are given eternal life.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye have eternal life. That verse is only for those who believe that they have no sins to pay for because Jesus has paid our sin debt in full. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that beleiveth on me hath eternal life. John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that ALL that seeth the Son, and beleiveth on Him, may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit the minute we believe the gospel and can never be lost. John 6:39 Jesus has never lost one. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His.
John 10:28-29. No one can pluck us our of Jesus hand or our heabenly fathers hand. Those who do not believe in eternal security, are trusting in their works to save themselves. They are in effect their own savior believing salvation is by keeping the law and doing good works. But as good as those things are, they can not save us. Only Jesus can save sinners. So they like the Pharisees go about trying to establish their own righteousness by keeping the law and doing goo works, Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said, many will come before Him on that day and tell Him about all their good works, They even cast out demons in His name. But, Jesus said He did not know them. Why, Because they did not believe on Him as the only way of salvation by grace, and never received the Gift of the Holy Spirit.
We can not save our selves by how we live and what we do, we can only be saved by what Jesus did plus nothing. We have noting to boast in because we did nothing for it. Jesus paid I all and we paid 0. It is free and that is the only way we can accept it. Romans 11:6 It is all grace, what Jesus did for us, not works, what we do or do not do. You can not mix law/works with grace, One work cancels grace.

The Hebrew writer was speaking to Jewish converts that were being pressured in to going back to animal sacrifices. They were saved and had the free gift of eternal life, but were going to loose the blessing and trodden underfoot the Son of God with the sin of unbelief. But they had not lost their salvation.
We have to start with the simple truths of the bible and go on from there. We know from Paul's writings that we are saved and are given eternal life when we believe the gospel. Ephesians 2:8-9, Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 4:30, and Second Timothy 2:19.
What if we loose our faith and walk away? Second Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, He abideth faithful, He can not deny Himself. (His Holy Spirit that lives in the believer.
First John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doeth not commit sin, because His seed (the Holy Spirit) remaineth in Him, and He can not sin, because HE is born of God.
First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive our selves and the truth is not in us. We know the Holy Spirit that we received at salvation can not sin, but we still do. Paul even said He still sinned because of sin that still dwells in the believer. Romans 7. He even said He was yet carnal. But then He wrote Romans 8 where He said nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We always have to keep the bible in context. James was written to the twelve tribes of Israel scattered abroad. The first verse tells us so. Hebrews was written to the Jewish converts. Not to Gentile believers although there are some things in both books that pertain to us.

Ephesians 1:13-14 We are baptized by the Holy Spirit when we trust Jesus as our savior. In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. Our guarantee of eternal life. Acts 11:16. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how He said, John indeed baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized by the Holy Spirit.
Water baptism never saved anyone. It is Jesus blood sacrifice for our sins that saves us. John 3:16-18. Romans 3:26-28 Romans 4:5-8. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for HIS righteousness. We have to be as righteous as God to go to heaven, and no one is. But when we trust him alone apart from any works, He imputes His perfect righteousness to our account.
And our sin debt is paid in full, past, present, and future sins we have not even thought of yet. First John 1:8 IF we say we have no sins we deceive ourselves and the TRUTH is not in us. John 6:47.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

the whole point of the Ephesians second baptism is lost in this conversation.. first of all the caller is ignorant... Yes Baptism is important.. it is a representation.. equally as important as the Lord's table... but the Ephesians.. need to be baptized again... because.. they were baptized.. by John.. for repentance of their sins.. they were Not baptized in baptismal waters because they Knew or even heard of Jesus.. that was what Paul was getting at.. the Ephesians.. needed to be baptized.. AFTER they knew and trusted in Jesus....Not to be saved though!.. but as an act of obedience.. and everyone who trusts in or knows Jesus.. NEEDS to be baptized.. after He is made know to them.. Not beforehand... the Baptism of this day and age.. is an act of fellowship and obedience.. a unification.. of the believers a means of Identifying them with our Savior.. showing we are united in one belief.. Not for salvation purposes though...

Unforgiveness is a sin that will prevent a Christian from entering heaven. We will not receive forgiveness if we do not forgive; and we will receive forgiveness in the same measure we use in forgiving (or not forgiving) others. We cannot expect God to forgive our debts if we hold other's debts against them. Scripture is very clear on this. After you become saved if you fall into unforgiveness and die without repenting you will go to hell.
"12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." [Matt 6:12 from the Lord's Prayer]
    Matthew 6:14
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.
    Matthew 6:15
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.

Would you explain to me how you can loose eternal life? That is an oxymoron. It is impossible to loose eternal life. You may not have ever believed on Jesus as the only way plus nothing to be saved, but you can not loose eternal life. It would no longer be eternal if you could lose it.
John 5:24 Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth my words, and believeth on Him that sent me, HATH ETERNAL LIFE, (present tense) and shall not come into judgement but is passed from death unto life. John 3:18 Once we believe we can no longer be condemned to hell, only those that have never trusted Jesus as their only savior are not saved. Those that are trusting in their works, what they do to save themselves, are not saved because they have never done the will of the Father. John 6:40

    • @jimkraft9445
      @jimkraft9445 6 лет назад +1

No, we can't, once we have believed the gospel and are sealed by the Holy Spirit Ephesians 1:13 we can never be lost. What if we do walk away and loose our faith? Second Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, He abideth faithful, HE can not deny Himself. His Holy Spirit who lives in the believer. We only actually have to believe it once to be saved forever.
Second Timothy, 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His. Once we have believed on Him as the only way of salvation by grace, we are given the Holy Spirit of promise and can never be lost. John 6:39 Jesus has never lost one. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. Even if we forsake Him. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my words, and believeth on HIm that sent me, HATH ETERANL LIFE, and shall not come into judgement but is passed from death unto life.
Eternal life is forever life. If we have eternal life, then if we could loose it it would not be eternal.
The writer of Hebrews was writing to Hebrew converts. We have to discern scripture by who it is written to and why. These were Jewish converts who were saved, but about to go into apostasy and under pressure were going to go back to animal sacrifices. It would have been a terrible sin, but all of our sins were paid for and we can not be lost.
The Galatians were about to loose their blessing under grace for boasting in the law. But they had only fallen from grace. The truth is we can not fall from grace. Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds. Romans 5:19-21.

    • @jimkraft9445
      @jimkraft9445 6 лет назад +1

Gentiles were never under the law and would not go back to animal sacrifices because we never did that in the beginning. If you believe you can be lost, then you have never trusted Jesus in the first place and are trusting in what you do to save yourself. Not on what Jesus did for you and gives it as a free gift. All believers have been sealed by the Holy Spirit where we are born into Gods family, and can never be lost.
John 6:47 Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, HATH ETERNAL LIFE.
So if you do not have eternal life, you have no believed and are not saved. You simply believe you can save yourself by how you live an what you do. Your works. Romans 11:6 We can only be saved by grace and no works. If you add one work to grace it is no more grace and you were never a believer in the first place.
Fist John 5:13 These things have I written unto you who BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD THAT YE MAY KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
But you are an unbeliever. John 3:36 All believers have eternal life. All unbelievers are under the wrath of God because they have not believed.

a single unpure thought sends a Christian to hell. heard that argument a million times. please man pick up the bible a read it all the way through.
    Hebrews 10:38-39
    the whole book of James
these indicate habitual action not a fleeting thought James even goes so far as to say sin does not bring forth spiritual death until it is actualized through action. If this is true for sin how much more true is it for living by faith bringing forth salvation.
James 1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. What sin is greater then God's grace? None. Not one Christian will be going to hell. Maybe YOU should read the whole NT. IN CONTEXT!

Habitual action of sin? As far as salvation goes, habitual action is no different than one single sin. Only self-righteous people like yourself don't want to admit that

Good comment John. Self righteous works salvation deny the very words Jesus says in John 6:37-40. They will still post verses against it & get mad at me for calling them a Anti Christ. Yet who is the ones in here calling Jesus & God a liar? O Jesus saves, but only with my help! Good luck on that one! I told one guy remove your nic on YT & put satan then look at who is doing satans work. They still think they are doing Jesus work yet denying that we are saved by grace, period. God Bless you John & your family.

Tommy. Exactly. I am always being accused of "promoting sin" somehow as if I'm telling people to go out and break all of God's commands to be saved. That's not my intention at all, but people love attacking the truth. Everyone will admit that they still sin, oh but as long as you don't make a "practice of sin" you're ok... are you kidding me? In God's eyes it's black and white, you're either a sinner who deserves Hell, or you're perfectly blameless and worthy of Heaven. Christ is the only way we can be counted blameless before God, and our lifestyle has nothing to do with it because we will always be sinners. Self-righteous people never want to admit how sinful they are, and will always try to find ways around it. This was the exact reason why Jesus and the Pharisees didn't get along, so it's nothing new. Thank you and God bless you as well

If we were saved by how we live and what we do, we would be our own savior, and Jesus died in vain. When we trust Him as our savior we receive the free gift of salvation by grace, Ephesians 2:8-9 and our sin debt has been paid in full. First John 2:2. IF all of our sins were not paid for no one could be saved. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and he truth is not in us. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin because we are not perfect, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We have been sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30. John 3:18 We can no longer be condemned. John 5:24 Verily, veily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, HATH ETERANL LIFE, and shall not come intu judgement but is passed from death unto life
You can not loose eternal life. That is impossible. But we can loose our life early and our rewards in heaven. First Corinthians 5:5.

folks you better believe there's something you have to do.... Philippians 2:11-13 (KJV)
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

6153calme our part is to believe Jesus and he does the work so no can say look what I have done no it's look what the Lord has done and he receives all the glory and honor due to him when they asked what shall we do to work the works of God Jesus said this THE work of God believe on him whom he has sent.

@@kevinramsey1435 He also does the work in baptism so like I said earlier baptism is a part of faith so it is essential for salvation; must do all that Jesus says to do to be saved by Him.

I know this interview is old now but Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Johnny you pick what you like from scripture to justify your own beliefs.
You act like you don’t sin and yet you’re talking to this man and belittling him with pride in your heart. So, by your own belief you condemn yourself. According to your own beliefs, had you have died during the interview you’d be in Hell. All unrighteousness is sin.
Yet God’s Grace is with us, and it’s not a free license to sin. This younger brother knew what he was talking about. There’s not one without sin.
Also, what if someone believes on the Lord Jesus Christ by faith to save them and there’s no body of water where they’re at and they die are you going to tell me that they’re not saved or Jesus will refuse to save them because they never had the time to be submersed in water? This doctrine that you must be baptized to truly be saved surely has some holes in it.
You create salvation based on certain variables.
Well, I guess people living in a desert or those who live in prison will never have the chance to be saved. That’s terrible!

if you trust in water baptism in anyway to get you to heaven you will die in your sins only Jesus can save us salvation is a gift if water baptism is necessary for salvation then salvation ceases to be a gift if you have to do anything it's not a gift the only thing you can do with a gift is receive it or reject it The way you receive it is by faith and faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God if you believe God you receive if don't believe you reject the gift of God

It's really easy to see there is a debate right and here's how you determine who is telling the truth the one that has more forgiveness and mercy that's the side I'm going to take because that's who God is she's full of mercies every day so I would say the Johnny him is going to Hell just because he doesn't believe and that's the only reason why! And look launch her a reprobate mind there is no change in you so Johnny's set in his ways and he'll burn forever and he'll have to have to pay the piper
