Some thing that really pissed me about some characters: Dororo in one chapter said that Hyakkimaru should let them take those parts because she would become his eyes and his parts missing, but it looked to me like she never understood that they wanted his life. Tahomaru acted the whole time as a puppet of his father, instead of seeing his father's past actions as a possible reminder of what could happen to him if things get bad again, he instead decided to fight with the brother who just wanted and HAD THE RIGHT to reclaim what was taken away from him since birth.
@Ger Vang Like his mother said, that only brough a momentaneous peace, 'cause at last Hyakimaru fought to reclaim what belonged to him. They should have started from Zero. A sacrifice is only ''good'' when THE PERSON sacrificed Agrees to die, Hyakimaru was just a baby.
Even so, Tahomaru values his and his people's lives as much as Hyakkimaru values his own. So him fighting to the best he can against Hyakkimaru is justified, just as Hyakkimaru fighting for his body is justified. It's where the morally gray thing comes in
Hyakkimaru wants to fight because the body parts are his to begin with, so in his mind it is justified to kill all the demons even though it will cause return the suffering to the people of Daigo. Tahomaru does express disgust that his father sacrificed his older brother to the demons, but he adheres to the idea of utilitarian, so he wants to kill Hyakkimaru to return the prosperity to Daigo. Maybe he would have reacted differently if his father's words don't make sense, but at that moment Hyakkimaru is the reason Daigo is suffering, and even Nui-no-Kata agrees that Hyakkimaru must be stopped.
@@bluesyrupgc4224 Daigo's destiny was to end. Daigo never care about his family, he just want power. They all are coward. It's easy for all of them to say Hyakkimaru should die because he is the only one who's suffering while they are all living in peace.
I put this fight in my TOP 10 SWORD FIGHTS in anime, when it comes to choreography and animation. Quite realistic swordsmanship from Tahomaru. Reminded me of "Sword of the Stranger" (My TOP 1).
The way Hyakkimaru's sight works is that white flames are people, green flames are objects, and red flames are evil. Hyakki doesn't lose this sight until the final episode. But none of the 3 were red flames, so Hyakkimaru must've thought they were a threat to Dororo. Oh right, they tried to jump Hyakkimaru too and STILL lost, because Hyakkimaru doesn't really know what mercy was.
Both brothers were following the paths mapped out for them by their past & their father's sins. Hyakkimaru was taking back what's his by birth, no more nor less. Tahomaru was doing his duty as the lord's heir. But only the younger one could reconsider the past and change his behavior, because for the older it was the matter of survival! Daigo's land was nothing for the older brother and he's been hunted & fighting for ever because of it... no notion of family, loyalty to one's people, country, no duty. They're empty to him. Especially after these people branded him a demon. Truly karma is a bitch. But Tahomaru knows more of this world, and his mother - even more than that. They say mercy is above justice. I believe together they could've found a way and reconcile. But - no. So justly Tahomaru was the one to pay dearly proving his no better than his father! He used the same cursed means against his own brother - yes, he had to pay. And lord of Daigo witnessed the fall of his house. What, was it really impossible for his land to survive without that cursed sacrifice? What about other countries, did they just *disappear*??? Shouldn't they have worked more, tried harder? And what is this prosperity like, hanging on a thin rope of a dirty secret, of a murder, of a tragedy, violence done to a baby? Wasn't it an illusion? For mother, who knew and was the least guilty, there wasn't evrn that, she was suffering non-stop. Tahomaru, too, was affected by her pain and sorrow.
Exactly. Father was a coward and idiot who didn't wanted to work hard or use his brains to survive so sacrificed his new born kid. And even the little brother instead of finding new ways to build their land is hell bent on killing his old brother.
Hyakkimaru was meant to be a special person with great power, maybe that's why the demons wanted him. Also, he's a first-born male child, an heir - it' s very important, a great sacrifice for his father's pride (and feelings, but he didn't seem to regret it at all). And isn't it a *trap* in itself, this "deal", because demons can't be trusted. Daigo's family was unhappy and the prosperity of his land started to crumble depending on * only one condition *, Hyakkimaru's will to survive no matter what! Isn't this whole "deal" an illusion?..
The demons offered quick results and "what Daigo wanted" but in exchange for something of actually much greater value. That is the way of the demons. Also, we see they love to corrupt humans. Plus, the disaster that followed, but that is more of a karma thing, the demons didn't plan to die. But yes even the initial deal was bad past the short term.
Not to mention there are a lot of hints that Hyakkimaru is blessed by the Mother of Mercy, which is why he was able to survive the initial taking of his body and was able to live throughout the series. I always see Hyakkimaru as a prophet who was supposed to save Daigo and fulfill his father’s dream but his father traded him off to the demons before he even got the chance to, which is why later on Daigo fell but another community was built on its land using Dororo’s inheritance. Nui-no-Kata said the deal was always a trap because Daigo was built on a slipper slope.
May God (Allah) guide everyone astray. Whoever searches the books knows very well that the Trinity, divinity, and humanity are not present in them, and there is no mention of them or of Christ’s confession that he is God, God forbid. They are all interpretations of priests, as if God needs explanations for the basis of his divinity. In all religions there are differences, but the origin is clear with regard to God, except for Christianity. God. There are throughout history conflicts over his divinity and identity. Christ himself was calling on God and asking Him like any human being. God guided everyone to His unity and satisfaction Whoever searches for answers to doubts about Islam will find them, but most people want what their priests allow
