Hi Elizabeth ❄ You have made so much progress on your full coverage! It's looking great :) I can't wait to see how that circle throw works up with your advent yarn - what a fun pattern! I hope you're doing okay this week and staying warm. Happy stitching 💜

I’m a first time viewer and it’s so funny you bring up being in Just Cross Stitch. I read that issue yesterday on Libby and remember that organization section! Congratulations!🎉

As always a fun video. The Addie LaRue book is so so so good. I was the same way when I read it. I have read it 5 times since. I honestly never get sick of reading it ❄️

Thank you for giving us tricks and tips on a cover cross stitch. I am new in the world of cross stitch and this idea will help me so much!! Thank you so much. I also love knitting and enjoy making different things. My other love for crafts is my sewing. love making and designing my own project bags adding the rings for the floss. In addition, I love making my knitting bags. I enjoy making so many things!

I love the Ruby & Roses Yarn, the colors are stunning. I needed 7 years to knit my Sockyarn Memory Blanket and know I think it`s not warm enough. Maybe I`m going to knit one with double sockyarn. Love your videos and the projects you are doing.

Yes, I also wash my socks in a washer. Mine has a pretty good delicate cycle. I do not use the dryer, though. I just hang them up and let them air dry. For smaller loads I just toss the socks in the washer. For bigger loads I use mesh bags, 1 for socks, 2 for bras and leave the rest of the items loose in the washer. Obviously if I have lots of socks to wash I use another bag for them. The biggest issue for me has been to keep the bra closures from the socks because they can catch and pull strands of yarn on the socks.
If my socks don’t fit my feet snuggly I do fix them. I would rather reknit part of the sock than have a pair that rubs on my foot, causing blisters or extra wear and tear so the sock goes to the graveyard sooner than I want. It has happened to me so I make sure that my socks and those I make for family members fit well.
Your Advent blanket looks great! If you want a few little openings you can choose to knit the yarn overs through the front loop in an occasional row or every other yarn 😊 overs. Just a thought. Your colors for your sweater are awesome! You made great choices there. Have fun with your cast on!

Your knitting is beautiful. I wonder if you can knit up a test swatch and throw it in the washer/dryer with regular clothes. See what it does.
    Congrats on your JCS appearance!
Have a great rest of January ❄️

I put my socks in the washer on a regular cycle with my other clothes and have never had a problem. I have accidentally put a pair of socks through the dryer before and it was fine but usually I just lay them out to dry!

I would love to see how you are doing the tshirt quilt. I want to do one for my sons and I’m not sure how to start it. If you could show some it would be appreciated. You socks look so good.

Happy Belated Birthday! I love seeing your knitting in addition to cross stitch. I finally restarted my Vanilla sock that I messed up. I was wondering when you said your socks are your travel project. Are you flying? If so how does TSA deal with your needles? I didn’t take my sock when I traveled at Christmas because I was worried my needles would be taken. Addie LaRue is a fantastic read.
