Hi Elizabeth 🎃 What a fun video! You've made so much progress on your WIPs, and I loved the Mason jar ghost ornament. Your trip to Colour & Cotton sounds like it was so much fun, and your color conversions are perfection 😍 I love that store, especially the floss wall. I hope you're having a great week. Happy stitching 💜
I lived in Missouri most of my life but have retired to a warmer place! My daughter lives 20 minutes from C and C which is great. I have been to the Arch. It is a great experience. We went while it was still light so could see so far but then got to watch the sunset and the lights. That was beautiful. You are so good about achieving your goals! Great job.
I live about an hour from C&C. I am totally obsessed with their store. If I had seen you, I would have embarrassed myself! So glad you were able to go.
Awesome haul from c&c! That store is on my bucket list too...alltho im up in n.y so right now its just a pipe dream for me 😂..i am trying to plan a road trip weekend tho to get to hobby house which is maybe 4-5 hours west of me. Id love to visit EVERY lns wouldnt that be amazing?! Lolol just to b able to see all the amazing fabrics in person its SO hard to shop online it just doesnt hit quite the same! Happy stitching!🐈⬛🪡❤️
Nice Flosstube. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects!. I heard or saw somewhere that you and Bobby will be moving. True? Finally getting to Stitch-Con next year! Was hoping to maybe meet you and your gals..
I'm planning to knit a shawl with the yarn! I might share what each color is on my instagram stories. I signed up for this advent back in April, so if you'd like to do this one next year I recommend following Ruby and Roses on instagram so you'll know when the 2025 advent goes for sale.
Hey Elizabeth! I have a question that I thought you might could help me with. I notice in your videos that you use a lot of fabric from fiberlicious yummy fibers and I was wondering if you have ever used their Aidas? I just recently ordered some dyed Aida from them and it is pretty stiff (as I know Aidas can be) but I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks on softening it some before I start stitching on it. Just wanted to see if you have ever experienced this before? Thanks so much!
I personally have not used their aidas. I always hear people suggest crumpling up the fabric a few times to help to soften it, but I'm not sure how much that will help. Good luck!
