A beautiful collection! I got a pair of the Claremonts as well (mine in the oxblood red), and they are just so lovely. I also got those Karolina oxfords as well, but I got it in the pink and black. Your pair is making me consider black for both the Karolina and the Claremont as well. I wear black shoes most of the time, after all.
I unfortunately discovered AD about a year ago and have since become an addict lol. I got the green Parkers for an event, then took advantage of the summer sale and got the navy Claremonts. I love them both though they haven't been worn quite as much as I would like due to life. Then I splurged on the Liliths and Daisys during the Thanksgiving sale, though I anticipate wearing them more in the springtime than winter, since I have a fear of their shoes being discontinued before I can get them (I really wanted the Peggys but was trying to be responsible with my money and they were discontinued this summer, sigh). Over the last 2 years I have needed to replace all my shoes since they wore out basically all at once and weren't worth taking to a cobbler. I now have a closet full of SAS and American Duchess shoes that I love; though I do occasionally have to remind myself the beautiful AD shoes are meant to be worn and if I ruin them at some point it is ok, they are just shoes lol.
Hi! Thank you for the video, I am currently in the process of choosing my first repro shoes for winter. I live in the Alps and I am a bit frightened of damaging them with the snow. Anyway, your video was very useful and will help me to choose! I love the Claremont btw, they look like typical 30s shoes. 😄
I love vintage style and would like to wear more (I sew so I would make my own outfits) but my fear is buying those expensive shoes and wouldn't be able to walk all day in those (I do long walks during the day in the city, make 15km per day in steps)
Hi, do you know how much you can stretch the karolina suede? I stretched my leathers and they fit great, but a size up was too big. How does the suede fit?
The Claremont is gorgeous! I especially love the black.
I am very much an oxford girl. I have more oxfords -- and yet, want more oxfords. I love your shoe collection! Fabulous!!
Hi Michelle -- thank you!!

Do you have any recommendations for shoes to wear in the rain?
