Pytt I Panna on The Trangia Micro

- The Trangia Micro is tiny but robust!
I tested it out with a traditional Swedish dish called Pytt I Panna.
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 small, fluffy potato (new potato)
1 small onion or shallot
1 clove garlic
Pickled beetroot
Cured sausage
Salt and pepper.
Olive oil.
Dry egg in the oil until cooked. Place to one side (on the unused lid)
Cut other ingredients into 1cm cubes (the potato even smaller) and cook and stir and cook and stir until ready.
Out the egg on top and enjoy!
I find these cooking videos of much more use than the "boil time" videos people do. I get that many people just boil water for a dehydrated meal, but cooking actual food shows the full range of what a cookset can actual do. Thanks! Great video.

No. It’s fresh ‘new’ potatoes. That’s why I cut them up into match stick/ tiny pieces so that they could cook at the same time as the rest of the ingredients
@@OffTheBeatenPot Hey, thanks for confirming. I will give this a try. I used to have a Korean spicy rice dish that was served in a hot stone bowl. They threw a fried egg in on top and it was lush to mix it all up. This reminded me of it.

A funny thing my friend, is that we never put the red beetroot in the pyttipanna while cooking it. The beetroot is always served cold on the side of the plate. 🍳🤌
