It does have a white cloudy colour in the jar but it dries clear

Thank you! It is a glossy water based varnish that I buy from Germany. It is not branded.

I use Bekro dye chips. It is available from all the good candle suppliers in the UK.
Is there a reason why you didn’t link the varnish? The whole point of the video is the varnish lol
She says in a comment above that it's a specific candle varnish. I'd suggest searching your local candle supplies shops and asking around.
Can I just use regular gloss Vara saying for my candles to make them shiny?
No, the varnish needs to be specifically for candles.

What type of wick and size are you using?
There is no much info regarding pillar candle wicks.
It is very hard to wick. I have tested a lot of them, I got the smallest raw week i could find. 0.5 eco wick, etc… there a few sites in the UK where you can get really small wicks. Depending of the shape, basic cotton wick on a roll works best.
@@GlowedCandlesi just checked that 0.5 eco is for 4cm candle. Is it true? Or im looking in wrong page? I need a wick for 2cm candle

@@GlowedCandlesi didn't test nothing. Just looking what to buy. I have a candle which is 7 cm bubble at the bottom and long 2 cm stick at the top. So at first i dont know how to wick that kind of candles with so big diameter difference. I thought i will try 0.5 but it says for 3 -4 cm
@@GlowedCandlesi used size 0.5 and my stick burned in 1 hour. Was dripping a lot. Is it yours dripping? My candle is just 1.5 cm diameter.
All this wicking is like pain in aerse😂😂🤪 all candles are so interesting shapes and just makes problems to wick them. Im not .
I haven't seen smaller wick anywhere 😕.
Now i have burned shell with tcr 18.10
And another one with wedo size 2. They are different sizes but both burned same.dripped on the side. And burned for 55 min. Very interesting. Doesn't make any sense 😕 im asking maybe too much 🙈🤗

This wouldn’t work on melt as it could block the scent
