So many ppl don't get what this watch is about. It's a fitness tracker. It's not trying to be a smartwatch. Huawei don't want it to have all the bells and whistles of WearOS devices. They want it to track fitness and track it with accuracy. They aren't interested in NFC and all the other battery draining crap ppl don't care about when out swimming or on a long distance run.
I have bought Huawei Watch gt Classic last month, and I am absolutely satisfied. This is probably the best not only smartwatch but watch at all. 3 mm thinner then Samsung watch, 5 mm thinner then Fenix 5 and Fénix 3 but with same functions. For half price... Perfect for everiday usage, enough elegant for Business and absolutely comfortable for ever.

Can you make phone calls with it? Reply messages on WhatsApp through dictation?
@@deckerman79 no, you see who is calling and you can turn call off, but you can't receive call, neither to reply messages, you can only see text of new the messages.
You should receive the same credit as the other very famous tech reviewers,
They mostly depend on being funny,
But you cover far more technicalities than they do.

I have one too, also provided free as part of the Mate 20 Pro promotion. It is a great activity tracker and sleep monitor, rather like a Fitbit on steroids. I am getting battery life of well over a week, with continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking turned on and almost daily workouts with GPS turned on, which is amazing.

Huawei products also have good quality. Loved this Watch. It's display & upto 14 days battery Life.
In a couple of recharges, so far, it's around 12 days with heart-monitor always on and bluetooth as well. Then it all depends on how long do you use the GPS and how many notifications do you activate. It's not perfect, but if you like the sport side more than having a second mobile phone on your wrist, this is for you, because of its precise health monitor sensor.
Am using this watch more than my galaxy watch the battery life it the best on any watch I used
I love my GT, the battery life is amazing, although there is now way to sync with strava which is totally crazy at present.

This is perfect. Im not complaining about the price coz im getting mine for free. I had a moto 360 in the past and it was trash.
what is up with watch manufacturers starting to not include speakers on their watches? 🤔 that to me is a step backwards.. i mean i like the video and the watch looks nice but why pull a fossil? you get an amazing 4th gen watch without a speaker? all the spec's you can ask for but no speaker 🤔

I think you're wrong. I explain you why:
See the sensor quality/precision. I watched several videos about the sensors and their precision is more or less in par with Sportwatches such as Garmin; they perform even better than Apple Watch. Battery life is amazing on this watch. I have been using it for almost 25 days and the battery life with my low notification use is about 12 days with heart-rate monitoring and bluetooth always on.
It all depends on what you're looking for in a smartwatch.
If all you need is a "second mobile phone" in your wrist, then this is not for you. Forget it.
If all you need is a good sportwatch with precise sensor, helth-monitoring, good build quality and a decent price, this is for you.
I paid it 170,05€ with a 15% discount. At 19€ more there was the Garmin Forerunner 235, but the design is a bit cheap. The sensors are very good! The Amazfit Stratos costs less, but then the sensors are not in par with Watch GT2.
Let's see how next 2019 Snapdragon Wear 3100 smartwatches will perform, in terms of battery life and sensor precision. I really can't stand to recharge even the smartwatch every single night. Also I bought the magnet metallic strap and it's amazing and nice looking!
@@delpinsky the snapdragon wear 3100 performs the exact same as 2100. Only difference is a bit better battery life thats it. same chipset.

I would also wait for Snapdragon Wear 3100 smarwatches, in 2019. After two years with the old SoC, they could improve a lot...hopefully. Battery life of just one or one and a half day, is so ridiculous.
Only disappointed by lack of WiFi and sim slot but otherwise its awesome

No those apps will not work. You can only use the built in trackers.

I got the same watch and too over a month to arrive with emails bac and forth, the original price of the Watch GT was labelled £260, Wireless charger doesnt work correctly with there Flip Case on

This is interesting. IIRC LiteOS is what is running on the Kospet Optimus Pro when the watch is in the low-power mode.

I have not experienced any lag on the watch. But as soon as I switched it on, I did the 3 firmware updates back to back.

Yes you can.
It looks nice but how do you know it has an accurate GPS from turning it on an off for one second to see the GPS icon? I can put a GPS icon on my laptop so does that mean it has an accurate GPS? IMO a review would be wearing it for a few days to test the features like how did the GPS track your workout, does the battery really last 7 days, how easy is it to read in direct sunlight, etc. I can think of many more questions that would come up in normal use. This was more of an unboxing than a review.
I have had the watch for a few days and have actually already tested all the fetures. The strongest point of this watch is its fitness capabities and GPS works great. I have been for a run and left my smartphone at home and i was able to get a GPS fix pretty quick and no issues at all. To keep the videos short I just do a quick overview of specs, features and thoughts at the end. Of course viewers questions are welcome for anything that i may not have shown.
@@ChigzTech Thanks for clarifying. From the video it just looked like you took it out of the box. Maybe just mention the testing in future videos so people aren't confused if you tested it or just looked at it. Awesome channel though!
