Hate to say it but i disagree, George was not only one of the greastest guitar players to live on this planet but a mastermind of lyrics, many of the songs you hear from the beatles are written or co written by George, God rest his soul

I have a Ringo story. He once dropped into a recording session I was playing in. He's a sincerely lovely guy without a trace of arrogance. With a little persuading he had a quick go on the drum kit that was there. I couldn't believe how loud he played! I mentioned this. He chuckled a bit and said that of course he was loud because he had to get over the screaming of the Beatles fans so the other guys had some idea of where they were in the songs they played.

Although some people may disagree about the concerts not being as great since Ringo is not the sole performer, they will definitely change their minds once they see the other musicians perform just as greatly as Ringo does! If I do get a chance to see them perform some day, I hope it can be at a dinner theater where you can get some food and watch them perform at the same time. Does that sound good to you?

This is one of Ringo's best live performances. I love his drumming and singing on this one. I especially love the feeling with the audience, he really made the whole crowd enjoy that moment. The moment where he says to Dave Grohl "Is that your little girl? Beautiful!" (7:16) is amazing and super cute just like Ringo. And of course all the enjoyment of Yoko is spectacular, I feel 100% represented by her 😄

I was really expecting that the 2014 All Starr Band would show up during Ringo's performance in the same way that Rusty, Brian, Wix, and Abe showed up for Paul. However, given the fact the performance focuses on Ringo, they cannot be here. I am glad that at least one current member of the All Starr Band got to be one of the guitarists of the house band during this show.

I've always wondered how Ringo got stuck singing "Boys"? Guess we shouldn't think about the lyrics too much. Anyway, wish they gave the names of the backing band he was playing with. They were pretty good.
"Boys" was always the drummer's song. Pete Best did it when he was with them. Ringo did it with his other band, the Hurricanes. When the time came for Ringo to record it for the Beatles, he nailed it in one take.

Sickly childhood gave him a great immune system, plus he’s vegetarian and exercises.
