A quick tip, just add the rice in a separate bowl inside the pressure crocket atop the ring thing it comes with. I do it all the time with Daal Chawal (lentil & rice) it comes out perfectly.

I will try this recipe with Matki / moth beans . Yes I agree with keeping the skin on sweet potato ...even I do the same . Lovely simple easy recipe to follow 💗 love from Hotpooriz kitchen.

Gave it a try. It's pretty good, savory and flavorful. Thanks for the weekday meal.

Nice recipe. You remind me a little of Anne Hathaway.

If you want a sweet onion, why not just use vidalias? They're in season (even when you released this video) and they taste amazing!

I love vidalias! I can’t remember exactly what kind of yellow onion I used for this video, but usually when I buy yellow I do tend to get vidalia (especially since we’re here in Georgia!). I don’t specify vidalia though because they aren’t always available.

You can cut the recipe in half to have 2-3 servings instead. It can also be frozen in case you end up making the entire portion. Enjoy! :)
