You haven’t posted for a bit, but if you are still doing it please post more on your table loom. You have an easy way of explaining it. I found it helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for this great video. My shaft levers won’t stay down. Nor will my warp brake hold. What holds your levers down?

There is a plastic gizmo in the centre of the top, between the front and back faceplates. Its able to pivot up and back down a bit to hold the opposite ends of the levers in place.

Thanks. I can move that plastic piece which is attached to a lever. However, I can only have the shaft levers in all up or all down positions. They don’t stay down for normal operation of the loom. I wonder if something id missing or if the plastic gizmo isn’t installed properly. I would love to see the inside of your castle. Also is your brake wire that’s on the brake disc round or flat? My brake wire id round and it doesn’t grip.

Many thanks for your castle and brake video. I have to manually lock the shafts in place by pulling to the left the 5” steel lever which is screwed into the “plastic shed lock” which is what I am calling in because I don’t know the real name. So it’s a two step operation to change sheds. Is it that way for you as well?

@@accordiona actually i have an elastic band that attaches to that lever thing then goes off to the left to a screw. This holds the plastic gizmo so the top is pressing against the right against a screw. When a lever comes up it pushes the plastic to the left à bit until it snaps back to the right holding the lever up. Next time you push a different lever down it causes the first one to release as the next one locks I to place

Hi There, Thank you for sharing!! I was excited to stumble upon this! I inherited this exact loom. I Have NO idea how to put the warp on it. Do you have any suggestions on how to acquire that skill?

I learned from this video. She is even using a dorothy in the example. ruclips.net/video/N_nOl_V6jtE/видео.html
