Thinking about getting this loom. This gives me a good idea how to beat on an open shed. Instead of dropping all the shafts and then beating, I would change to the next shed and then beat.
Where can I get help with the installation? The person tying the knots on the shafts sort of has his thumb in the way, and even though I'm using a magnifying glass to look at the instructions ... I have literally spent hours plus. I brought the loom home yesterday. Attached feet, buffers, split the heddles, then ugh. Tried the shafts twice yesterday and 3 more times today. Will try again tomorrow - shafted out.
@@Quietcloud I found the PDF but do wish there was a video as well...so much easier to understand from that. I am amazed there isn't a single one out there. At the very least the company should put one out.
@@ScrapsArt I wholeheartedly agree. Made a mess first time I tried to warp, relying on the PDF, and ended up cutting off the warp.. A detailed video is urgently needed by the Louet company regarding the Jane. So my second time warping is today!
I'd like to see a video on warping this loom using the built in raddle.

I have just assembled my Jane 50. I have two levers that will not flip back up as you show. What is the fix for that?

I love the loom. A louet Jane loom with more than 8 shafts will be nice. Do you think about it?

Can that beater latch work on the Kombi? That is really neat.
The groove for the catch is cut into the wood of the side of the loom, so,no, unfortunately it can not be added.

I can't find a video on how to warp a Louet Jane table loom.
If you go to Jane Stafford's website she has a link to a pdf about warping the loom.
