Nissan Murano Hood Won't Stay Up

My Nissan Murano's hood wont stay up and almost knocked me out while trying to change the oil. Bought some new hood struts on Amazon and fixed this super annoying problem in less than 5 minutes!

Thank you! Your video saved me $520. The dealer gave me a quote of $220 just for parts. My dad's and I changed the struts for a total of $30 and about 10 minutes. Getting the struts to turn and align for placement on the hood was the hardest part. Thanks again

My 2005 hood went out too. I already had to change the lift gate ones. Now ima have to change out those too. Not difficult just another issue to fix on my 2005. Every couple of weeks or so I have an issue to solve and replace.

Ya, I am starting to get to that point with my 2009. A lot of little things springing up constantly.
