Sadiq Khan’s, to reduce toxic air by expanding the ULEZ to greater London will not work.
He doesn’t really care about toxic air quality and here is why:
    - He has already made the toxic air far worse since he has introduced the LTN’s which have increased the toxic air on the main roads because we are forced to use them as there are no other alternatives, especially during rush hour. The roads are now grid locked with traffic moving at walking pace and the fumes are getting denser and not dispersing. LTN’s need to be reopened as it is causing more damage than good.
Among all this, the mileage in vehicles has also increased due to the fact that we are forced to go the long way round to get to the required destination - all accumulating to even more emission being emitted! Bravo Sadiq & team.
    - The health for pedestrians and children as they walk along these main routes to get to stations, schools, shops is deteriorating. Even the drivers inhale more fumes when we are stuck in stationary traffic. This is really aggravating and makes no sense!
    - Cycle Lanes: Should not be taking up an extra lane of the roads, large pavements could be divided into two for cyclists.
    - The introductions of 20MPH roads are also a problem because emission fumes don’t disperse quickly and the air is getting even more polluted because of the need to drive in lower gears.
Sadiq’s statement: “It is to reduce toxic air pollution” is clearly not accurate and is making matters worse. The situation is getting extremely out of hand and something needs to be done to stop him from ruining our climate even more. He should resign and Londoners should vote for someone who will make London a greater and more desirable place to live in. There needs to be a more logical and strategic plan that is well thought.

Howard Cox will get my vote as he is clearly passionate to sort out the issues, some of which directly affect his family. He is a man of the people. He is not a ‘sheeple’ and talks absolute common sense. He has openly said that he will not side with the Conservatives as they are not doing enough for the public. He genuinely wishes to make a difference and is clearly knowledgeable enough to do so, having already achieved a lot. I truly believe that Londoners should give this man a chance. Sadiq has had 8 years in situ and achieved nothing - if anything his tenure has caused further issues (knife crime & housing issues have escalated) and despite being a Labour representative, who appear to pride themselves on helping the lower classes, he is actually causing the opposite. It is the poorer who are suffering most from his decisions.
    Vote Reform U.K.!

If you want to get rid of cycle lanes but not have cyclists siding with Khan then cycle safety MUST be addressed. There has to be a competency certificate, a licence to cycle on roads, ( roads which have been paid for out of the pockets of motorists), and there also has to be serious fines for people who put pedestrians at risk because they cycle on pavements.
These days being a pedestrian or a passenger on a London bus makes one feel like a second-class citizen; there is absolutely no consideration given to those of us on foot because councils are too busy scoring brownie points by demonstrating how pro-cycling they are. We now have cycle lanes cutting through pavements and running between bus stops and pavements. I really feel for elderly people or those with small children who can no longer feel safe from traffic even when on the pavements.

The first and most immediate change needs to be limiting the Mayor of London's power. We cannot continue to have a Mayoral decision system that cannot be stopped by Government, when decisions are made that effect National interest. The Mayor has far far too much power.
