All of our 3rd and 4th gen personal trucks at the shop have them with no impact even on desert trips or towing. Ram really over engineers these trucks so the reduction in airflow from a light bar doesn't phase the engine at all. I can even confirm that watching the values on my insight with and without a bar on.
Are these brackets pretty sturdy? Is there any bouncing of the light in the bracket or is it solid? I just dont want the light bouncing when I hit bumps or imperfections on the road.
why would one want to replace their perfectly good original tow hooks just to install your lightbar? sounds to me you are trying to sale two items by disguising it as one complete unit.

Just so happens that these lights fit trucks from 2010-2018, which makes this video relevant to a lot more Ram truck owners than just the ~12 months of 2019+ trucks. Plug and play for the fog lights! The light bars are mounted with a separate switch.

What size are the hex bolts, that you used for the tow hooks? I Have a 2017 Ram 2500 Cummins and I would like to change the tow hook bolts.

They’re plenty sturdy since we designed them to run off road and keep up with us jumping our trucks and hitting whoops!

You have a few options. Our favorite is the factory 13+ Projector headlights with an HID kit inside. Retroshop is the place to go for that set up!

Not sure where you’re getting 5k from! It’s $1,200 for the full set up with a 30” OnX6 bar and our tow hook brackets!

They’re great since the can be easily angled into whatever direction you need light. If you want ‘em we sell ‘em!
