I think besides the new multiple-level castles, my favorite thing is the ability to move items. I hated, hated having to dismantle them, and then only getting back 75% of the resources unless you remembered to change that in the server settings when you set up the world. I agree the DLCs are an excuse to give the devs more money. I got the new one, "Sinister Evolution Pack" since I bought the game such a long time ago, and honestly, for $20 I do appreciate the gameplay I've gotten out of it... Even going to buy another copy for my 13-year-old nephew so I have someone to play with. Thanks for the new content Cohh.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game a year ago when it early released. And the servant system is pretty neat. The only thing I don't like about it, is if I want to play single player, and actually have my servants do anything while I'm offline, I still have to run a server on my machine. And I just don't know enough about how to set one up. I'm not an IT guy. And that kinda turns me off the whole game.
They actually changed this in the new update! This was one of my biggest complaints about playing either solo or just hosting a game with friends as well, and I was surprised to find that when I loaded up my game the next day, my servants had finished their hunts despite not leaving the game running. I believe the game must look at your system time when loading and adds that time difference to any active hunts.
Super pumped to see you do another playthrough on v rising after update forst thing i did after launching game was look for your video yesterday but didnt see it was super happy to see tofay after work thanks for sharing love your videos
I always love seeing cohh wear the bg3 t-shirt and the obsidian t-shirt. I can't wait for august and if the xbox game show doesn't have avowed news I'm gonna cry a little bit
0:33 Oh thats cute, thinking D4 servers won't be absolutely borked, and the game will be playable on launch. Remember the D3 launch? Yeah, this'll probably be far far worse.
@@MrTrozzo91 would like to try the game but I think a review I seen mentioned how its incredibly grindy and comes to a screeching halt at a certain point. Like the beginning has a pretty good pace and then you hit this massive wall. I obv dont know first hand but thats basically the only thing thats prevented me from giving it a chance.
@@MattyBudzzz luckily you can modify game/server settings to configure pretty much everything, including loot drop amount and crafting/refining time to really make that a non-issue
@@MattyBudzzz as the other guy said. There is quite a bit of control over almost every aspect of the game. You can change all the stat scaling individually. Change how much materials you get or can hold. Make monsters die in one hit or 100 hits. How long the day night cycle is. And more. It’s honestly impressive how much control they gave us right out of the gate. With it being super easy to use as well. Not having to use some weird hard to understand server software like a bunch of other games as well.
@@MattyBudzzz This new update helps a lot with the sudden stop of the grind and progress, but it'll still happen at about 60 hours solo or 80 online now
is anyone else having serious connection issues with the game even when they play solo on ur own hosted map? like its every few seconds the game just lags out and and rubber bands around... real unplayable right now.
@@TakenCypress369 I guess other ppl on the subreddit were having the same issue, but havent found a solution or a work around... so i guess no play until its address.
I've had this game in my library for a while, I don't remember buying it to be honest. How is it singleplayer? I don't have any friends to play with, and wouldn't really want too, I'm much more of a solo gamer these days.
I'm playing in single player which is a thing it's just not multiplayer I pick the right moment to go to the iron mine two bosses that are in the iron mine manage to kill each other when I was right there Meredith bright Archer kriig the undead general I love it when that happens
I love the game and this new update is cool, but I feel that calling this an "expansion" (even if it's free) when the game is still in early access is dishonest.
fuckin hell cohh, you gave me a heart attack, you talkin about DLCs i'm like omg am i missin something? it's ALL cosmetic, there is literally 0 actual DLCs
Would love to play this but between griefers and the server requirements it just doesn't work for me. PvE is still griefer-prone. Would love a solo RPG mode.
if you can't realize these are cosmetic DLCS that's on you and deserve to loose your money maybe you can refund DLC if you accidently brought it not sure No one told you to buy them so don't hate devs for adding cosmetics i feel this game is worth more than 20$ anyway
100% absolutely agree. Rogue/Assassin are the most enjoyable RPG classes to play. "I do not choose rogue, the rogue choose me". 10/10 accurate hahaha
Very excited for this series, this game is absolutely awesome. Thanks Cohh!

It's been a joy returning to this game for the new content, and I look forward to watching Cohh experience it all, too!

I need to get back into V Rising and play it through all over again. The changes were massive. I mean, wow. 👀
Man this is the one game that really makes me want to get a PC or gaming laptop instead of a console. I reallllyy want to play this!
Due to its stylized art style there is no reason the game couldn't make it to console eventually
You won’t regret it
So worth getting PC switched from console little over year ago haven't played Xbox or ps since and v rising is so good especially after last update
can you play this solo? and are there any companions or minions to helpout?
Was looking for a new channel to watch v rising and was disappointed with 50 something videos! Btw are you a full grown peter dinklage?
Is it true that you lose all your progress in the game when they wipe the servers ever few months?
Is this a game you can play solo?
Yes. You can also tweak the xp/resources for a better solo experience.
yes

Just finished dead island 2 no I have another serving of good content
Is this more "early access" DLC?
It's a free update.
They have a cosmetic pack you can buy but that's it.
