- At one point, Jacob Conover was seen as a prodigy recruit coming out of the state of Arizona and was the Mormom QB who was supposed to save BYU football. Sadly, flash forward a few years and he will now be on his third school without ever making it work anywhere he has been. Today, I want to talk about Jacob Conover, his rise and what has happened, enjoy!

Sometimes you gotta make a choice. Do your mormon mission, or forgo it and focus on football. Neither choice is wrong, but choosing to o both is very risky. Manti Te'o decided to forgo it, and it worked out nicely for him at least for his college career. Tanner McKee chose both, but that cost him dearly. Not playing for 2 years only made him average 3 wins a season his last 2 seasons. Again, I respect the decision either way, but if you choose to hang up the cleats for 2 years, it might cost you football wise. Better get that degree if you do both just in case.

I watched him play in person this last season against Utah, and it was one of the worst offensive performances I've ever seen. I wish him the best of luck at Utah State

I remember the hype around Conover coming out of hs. Not Conover's fault that AzSt had such a bad OC/QBs coach exactly when Conover arrived (back) in Tempe/the East Valley part of the Phoenix, AZ metro..
