Hey Everyone! I won't be reading comments here until Tears of the Kingdom comes out due to the Leaks, but this is the Channel where you will be able to find my casual playthrough as I am doing it if you want to catch up with it! I will also be streaming it live on: www.twitch.tv/limcube Cant wait to discuss and break the game with you soon! -Lim
Hey lim, I’ve been dying to say so much on your weekly limcube+ videos, I simply can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done for us leading up to the release. You have defined this era for me, and I so so appreciate your kindness, optimism, and care to all us fans. Thank you, on behalf of us all, for all of the sacrifices you have made for us. 4. More. Days!!
I'm halfway through this video, and I dont plan to stop. I'm a casual player myself who only knows a couple of simple glitches. But the way you explain how you are doing things in such an Informative yet concise way keeps me so engaged. mad props bro, and good luck with future projects
Came here to comment the same thing. I've watched a bunch of speedrun or challenge vids in the past but they rarely go out of their way to explain some of this tech, and certainly not all in one place and in such an understandable way! This seems like a pretty good vid to get a bit of a crash course in botw speedrunning.
this is why linkus and lim are my two favorite creators. they're just so incredibly skilled at explaining things while they play through the game, and they make all of the complicated glitches they perform look so simple
I think I saw some asshole posting a comment consisting of sentences purely ment to spoil the game today(not on this channel). I still would call myself nonspoiled, because I already forgot all of it.
"But if Tears of the Kingdom has already come out for you, you probably aren't watching a Breath of the Wild video." Me, watching this while taking a break from my TotK playthrough: you don't know me
Random thing to appreciate maybe, but I love the intro to this video. In two minutes you gave channel updates, got me hyped for ToTK, explained what you were doing, and got me excited to watch the rest, all while giving some nice visual teasers of what we'll see. You really are a good video maker and I hope your channel continues to grow. :)
This is the best botw video I’ve ever watched and I’ve watched EVERYTHING. Even for people who don’t do the all shrines speedrun the information you presented and how u explained it was absolutely great so keep it up and thanks!
this really is the end of an era, and your runs and streams were always a huge inspiration for me, but totk is going to be one hell of an amazing time. Can't wait!
Found your channel through Limcube +, really wish I found it earlier, I’ve been staying up every night to watch that days limcube + video, can’t wait to binge all your totk videos after I beat the games full story, here’s to a new era!
I don’t watch your videos often, but I always enjoy the few I do watch. Even if I do t watch every video you upload, I just subbed because I want to support the channel. Lots of effort put into these videos
I’ve been watching you for years and always appreciate your commentary, but this is the best yet. It really feels like watching Olympic gymnastics, how professionally you explain everything. And god, some of the tech is beautiful. Sha Warvo blew my mind, the way that second WB looked. It felt like a gymnast breathing and setting before running at the apparatus. So cool. Thanks for this. I keep wanting to put it down and spread out the watching over the remainder of the week, but it’s over 2 hours in and I’ve not been able to so far. Oh well!
Bravo, Lim! 👏 A fitting final BOTW speed run. Thanks for all your great work and content all these years. Your passion has made this game important and exciting for so many people. Look forward to more great content and records(!) in TOTK.
I learned a lot in how to windbomb from Limcube and I would see what Limcube can pull out in TotK. Awesome work have been done. I can see Lims channel growing fast when TotK hits
It's been a blast watching you hone your All Shrines run over the last couple months. Congrats on getting sub5, and I hope you're enjoying a HYUUUUGE box of Cheez-It's!
I’m not able to get my copy of ToTK for probably another week and I’m trying my absolute best to stay spoiler free; so I’ve been watching a ton of BoTW speedruns and I came across your channel in the process. I love how you explain the strategies or direct us to people who can explain it in more depth as while I’m not particularly interested in speedruning myself - I love learning and understanding the glitches associated with it. Your content is super cool and your runs are so fun to watch, especially with your edits and commentary making them so much more engaging. Thankyou for your hard work and effort!! I hope you are enjoying ToTK and I can’t wait to see your speedruns of it!!
I've been watching this run over the last few days in bits and pieces as the last BOTW video I watch before TOTK releases and am having to watch you at 1.5 speed to make it in time for the release today... thanks for all the BOTW runs and streams you've done. It's been amazing to watch, this was a great video itself, and see you in TOTK :)
Thanks for this video. I love it when speedruns have commentary, especially such detailed commentary like this, as it lets me truly understand what the runner is doing.
Wow, truly feels like the end of an era almost. I remember playing the old 8-hour version using your old guide. Absolutely insane to see how much this run has evolved since then. GG on getting that sub-5, GLHF playing TotK, and thank you for years of great content so far! :D
You...are...awesome! All of your content, here and also on Limcube+. And as you mentioned it: Don't ever let the toxic and negative stuff hit you. Your english is very good, and as a german speaker (I'm from Austria), I even really like the fact that you can hear were you are from. Your decision to stay spoiler-free is also great. Keep on, I'm going to play TOTK on friday and after it I'll definitely watch you streaming it, just to see how you react on the different things and how you'll handle situations/quests/challenges,... Keep on, Limcube, you are the hero we always needed for Zelda BOTW and TOTK.

That was an awesome run! I've never really watched any BotW speedruns aside from Any%, so seeing a longer more technical speedrun was super interesting! ONLY 5 DAYS LEFT!!!!
What a fun speedrun! Launching yourself all over the place! Interestingly, when i learned how to wind bomb, i thought that the more difficult mid air gliding wind bomb was the only way to do it, so i learned that first. Took way longer, but now im better at those wind bombs than limcube😎
Mr 3d square congrats man it’s a big deal it has been less than a week and you gained 4k subs!!🎉 2k away from 100k 🎉🎉🎉 I was able to learn and perform many fun glitches because of your channel which is awesome and appreciated.
3:09:07 I'm pretty sure that it is the Tanagar Canyon, which is why the golf minigame is called the "Tanagar Golf Course" or something along the lines of that.
I am stressed about friday morning. I usually watch a little youtube over breakfast on days off, and I do NOT want to risk a spoiler right at the final moment. So I set up my browser to home page my watch later list - putting this on there right now!
It is kind of sad, I 've been following your BotW videos for almost 3 year. I learn to windbomb with your tutorial. Definitely will follow your Tears of the Kindom journey once I finish mine. Thank you for avoiding spoiler as well, because I knew I could rely on your videos through the wait.
3:28:03 I think the monk says this because the dialogue triggers whenever you get the 120th spirit orb, regardless of which shrine it is that you complete last. And since that can happen with any order of completed shrines, it'll tell you to go to the Forgotten Temple in case your last shrine was somewhere else, which is pretty likely for a casual player since there's over a hundred shrines that can all be done in any order.
Just finished totk, and I feel like I need a break from gaming for a few days to clear my mind. Glad I found your channel so I can still get my LoZ fix 😂
If we live in a simulation it's going to end up being revealed by a speedrunner trying to get through life 100% as fast as possible and finding all the glitches that nobody's noticed yet.
I originally got into lim because of his esa all shrines run. I love seeing him doing this again! Lim is my favorite content creator and has been for 3 years, I'm excited for the journey going into TOTK, we love you and your content lim!!
Currently watching this, just wanted to point out how much I love watching your videos since I found them last week! Can't wait to see TotK. Do you think you will try some BotW bugs and tricks like those you used in this speedrun all the time?
I mean.... Just incredible. I never even got halfway through BoTW, despite being a big Zelda fan (my first was Link to the Past, way back in 1992 when I was 12). In fact, this is the first time I've ever even seen the final boss fight! But to see it done with such insanely high skill levels just... takes my breath away! lol ToTK is even bigger, and I am massively enjoying it. I just hope I stick with it to the end. And I still have BoTW there if I want it.
I'd guess the reason the hinox in the dark forest doesnt wake up as easily is because it's dark. Stealth in the game works off sound but also off of enemies seeing you as im sure you know, so I bet in the dark section if you don't have a light source the hinox can't see you, which likely messes with his ability to aggro on you.
Hey quick question wouldnt it be quicker to do a forssburybounce in shrine 6 of the run there is no setup all you have to do is sheild surf spin attak on the shield and then jump and uniqipped the shield its much qiicker than doing a set up to get on the platform and doing a wind bomb that luanches you behind the monk.
I hope there's a glitch similar to wind bombing in totk. i dont speedrun but it's easy enough to do and is so useful, especially on replays of the game where you're less focused on exploring.
Tears of the kingdom has been released by the time im watching this, unfortunately im not getting mine until the day after the release, so thank you Kim I’ve for some final botw gameplay before I get the new one to keep me from getting bored 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@@Limcube yea it's because most people who are into stuff like video games are pretty nice actually. But you're right that it's always good to be on the safe side
2:29:01 Yeah for whatever reason physics acts weird in bullet time, such as things decelerating extremely fast and momentum sometimes becoming extremely fast when leaving it
8:40 I thought it was for combat awkwardness purposes that they removed bomb in Totk (dw this spoiler is a non-factor for any of you random readers), completely forgetting this tech category lol. Most fixes would still allow a player to _manage_ another sandbox item as a Link-launcher in conjunction with an infinity bomb.
Aw man my gut reaction with the fairies was like 180 and then I was like "that seems low, my guess will be 280" and then I was off with that one I should've trusted my instincts
Before today, I only watched one other video on your channel. Oddly enough, it was the 40 Ways to Beat a Shrine one that you mentioned didn't do all that well. This was a great commentary, and a wonderful send-off to a grand era of gaming. Here's to the future!
I love this guy, I can't believe I never heard of him. Ima start coming here to watch tears of the kingdom content (once I get the game May 12 or 13th) had to sub to him ❤❤❤
I do just love windbombs. It's technical in nature so it's not guranteed success every ti me but it's still mostly skill based so players who get good at it are rewarded. I really hope some variatioon of it finds its way into totk even if I doubt it.

really good! your almost as good as player 5. btw do u have one of those modified controllers?
I just want to say…
That thumbnail is so good! I wish I could make things like that!
I came here to say I really like the thumbnail to this video!
When one door closes another will open 🎉
8:40 I thought it was for combat awkwardness purposes that they removed bomb in Totk (dw this spoiler is a non-factor for any of you random readers), completely forgetting this tech category lol. Most fixes would still allow a player to _manage_ another sandbox item as a Link-launcher in conjunction with an infinity bomb.
Really miss your Botw streams. It was always fun
Well I didn't expect to watch this whole thing, but I couldn't stop once I started lol.
I am currently watching this while at the midnight launch for TOTK
Aw man my gut reaction with the fairies was like 180 and then I was like "that seems low, my guess will be 280" and then I was off with that one I should've trusted my instincts
really nice i loved youre og speedrunns
