Simon Phillips is a Great drumman , one of the best , having played with Michael Schenker , David Gilmour , Jeff Beck , Jon Lord , Ian Gillan , Gary Moore , Judas Priest , The Who and many others . Amazing !

I was once at the airport trying to sort out problems with my flight which had been unexpectedly cancelled and redirected via Milan and there was a guy next to me at the desk with the same problem who was getting very excited. He was carrying a drum case with Simon Phillips stencilled on it and he was trying to get on the plane as carry-on luggage. I was trying to think of a way to introduce myself, but I realised it wasn't Simon. I'm not really a fan of this style of music, but if you want some obscure but great fusion with Simon playing drums, try Flight of the Snow Moose by Gary Moore.
