One of my favorite guitar players! He bridges the gap of technique and emotion. I don't hear his name when great guitar players are discussed. Greg Howe is one of the top ten greatest of all time! He should be playing stadiums.
Hey Greg! I'll be seeing you in Sacramento for August 3rd. I don't know if you were told earlier but THANK YOU for going on tour, especially coming to the West Coast. It's nice seeing more folks coming out ( Greg Koch, Steve Vai, The Winery Dogs and John Petrucci have all started to come this way more to Northern California ). It means SO MUCH to us that you ( and your crew!! ) are playing again on tour. See you soon and be well!
I haven't listened to Greg since the early 90's from the cassette tape I bought. This guy is an incredible player! He easily could give Joe satch, Steve Vai, and Paul Gilbert a serious run for their money. (He sounds better actually) Keep rockin' greg!
Hey Greg ; I’ll give you 20 bucks if you let me in Wednesdays show!! It looks like online tickets are no longer available!! Hopefully it’s sold out 🤟🏻 Anyway I hope to be able to get in one way or the other on Wednesday in El Paso 😂😂😂
@@dctw oh ok thanks. Another new gimmick I s'ppose, great guitar players like Zappa or McLaughlin never seemed to use those and were doing just fine...
@@chrrev1 it is basically a string dampener. Guthrie Govan uses it, MAB and Jennifer Batten uses another variation of it. If it serves its purpose, it’s fine I suppose. In the old days, guitar players use hair band.
@@chrrev1 Not a gimmick. He uses it to keep open strings from ringing. It's a good idea for high gain to minimize harmonic interferences that muddy note clarity, and the player doesn't have to waste finger time/energy on muting.
Greg’s a great player, but he just never lets the song breathe. His songwriting isn’t on the level of the other greats imo. It’s just a constant barrage of fusion and a million notes. Song structure isn’t there
How in the heck can you play such a complex melody and it still sound so smooth and musical.
Love it.
Greg´s a guitar genious and playing with another genious, Stu Ham on bass!!!!!
Looks so nonchalant while burning up the fretboard. Greg is a true master.

He did play stadiums though...as guitar player for Rihanna, Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake though 😂
Greg ... thanks for uploading so us European fans can enjoy a little bit of Greg's live action as well !
Greg Howe for president 2024
Greg is such a kindhearted level-headed dude too! Way too kind to be in politics!
Your the best. Greg.
Thank You Greg for posting all these amazing recent performances 🎶🎶😍😍

Saw you at the Potato!! One of the best shows I've been to. Proto Cosmos was killer!
So much fun! Great show.

Is that Stu Hamm?
It is.
Stu… Going Hamm on bass.
Why do these guys use a capo on their guitar? I see Mancuso is also using that and continuously moving it... weird.
that's a fretwrap. not a capo

Not real melodic...
Too many notes
This Is jazz fusion
Those of us who like it, like it a lot.

Chi sono per te i più grandi ?
@@andreaspiga8870 Aber echt. Ich versteh auch nicht was er meint.
I know exactly what you mean and see it the same way!
