They look good blacked out like that against the white! I guess I'll need these after I finish stage 2 install. I got my turbo last week and the downpipe and other goodies show up today!! Thanks for a great video :)
I bought some this past summer from the Vland website and it was very easy to install. There were no wires I had to splice, and the little control boxes from the outside lights also came on the trunk lights so it was just a wire from the body to the trunk. The website and amazon were both $250 when I bought them from the website
@@1nfaraCS no they work great. If you are trying to look at the fitment, up close it’s not the greatest but you don’t notice it unless you’re looking for it. But other than the fitment being a little off they work great
OEM euro led tails are a lot easier to install. Only problem is price and availability. New they are 1150 stock is limited used they usually go for $500 of you can find them on forums
I have a White MK6 Base Golf and was really worried about how the smoked would look before this! For the sequential mirrors where did you get those? And any installation video on those
Thank you! Unfortunately, I didn't have to troubleshoot the lights. They just worked. I'm sure the other plethora of videos on these same lights will have someone who knows the answer!
Is the Braille battery so weak that it will die with just a few seconds of testing the lights? I know those things are lightweight but I thought they had more juice than a standard wet battery too, and you can run the lights on a standard battery for quite some time before it dies. I know this is a taillight video but I’m interested in those Braille batteries, they seem like black magic. Lol
How are these taillights holding up? Any issues with condensation or the sealing? I’ve gotten some advise to silicone seal them, wondering what you guys think
There's definitely a few quality issues like the fitment and wiring, but the materials feel pretty good and other's have said they're still going strong light wise even after a few years.
I can't get mine to work right. They turn on and everything works fine till I hit my breaks all driving lights go out. But the brake n turn signal work. I turn them off n then back on the come on till I hit breaks. Can someone give me an idea
It's a Canbus decoder. Basically a little computer to translate the cars signals for proper communication with the lights. They're not dangerous if they're made properly and installed in a space large enough for passive airflow.

My main concern with these LED sealed lights is how hard it is to repair them if they break, not as easy as an normal bulb
I’ve had mine for almost 2 years no, with no issues
I’ve had mine for about two years and just replaced 1/4 of the lights because the LED’s were messed up with their colors.

thank you, the most important thing for me is that they don't leak water and that the lights don't die
Did you guys have any warning ligths on the dash like brake or tail ligth out?
@@ricardofernandez5700 nope. Plug and play. Works perfectly
Definitely grabbing a pair of these for my mk6. Looks good
They really do!
Thanks, with this I am definitely going to stay stock.
Don't blame you. It's a fair pain. Let's just say I'm glad it's over.

threw these on a while ago but they are definitely worth the money
Money, yes. Wiring? Close call hahah. Just glad they're in and working!

My bad forgive me… I found your video on the mirrors 😅
The tail lights look sick! Culd please tell me where you got your rear defuser please?
CJM Industries! They have several fin options too! Here's the one I have: cjmind.com/products/mk6-gti-rear-diffuser-2010-2014?variant=42210241511670
What is the thing that gets hot? And is it dangerous? Fire etc.
Definitely worth it! Good to see you got them installed alright. 😂
Alright is an understatement! But they're in and that's all that matters!
How did you get the sequential to work. Mine don't even light up? Awesome car and videos.

Same. That's why I made it.

They're holding up well so far! Not a bad idea to still seal them but we've had no issues!
Is there reverse lights?
Great looking lamps. But I am interested in the quality since it is a Chinese product?

@@TheParkingLotMechanic Thank you very much for your reply.
Hola buenas que precio tienes los faros muchas gracias.💪🚗💨🇪🇸
What did you do for the rear vw badge insert I’ve been looking for a color match insert for my mk6 but I can’t find any anywhere, love the gti!
Truth be told, it ain't a perfect match. I just pried the badge off and put down some white vinyl wrap I bought on Amazon. And thank you!

Do you need to code these after installing?
Why does the black box with the m3 strips gets hot? And is it dangerous?
