    It always amazes me that after people raise wild animals then return them to the wild. The animal is like "Are you ffinn kidding me. f the wild! Take me back home!"

    • @Cruor34
      @Cruor34 2 года назад +78

      Yeah I don't get what surprises people, can be a bird, lizard, gorilla or a lion, doesn't matter, the wild sucks, they want to be in a home and be fed just like people do. The only animals I can think of that would prefer the wild over (good) captivity are dolphins/whales. I have Iguanas and Tegus and they like to go outside in the sun for maybe 30-60 mins, then they scratch at the door to be let back inside.

    • @s.e.e455

      Ultimately, an animal has far more freedom and fulfillment in the wild. A human home might be loving and comfortable, but it’s restricting and limits the things they can do in their lives and they become totally dependent on you. I’m grateful this couple took responsibility, but I think they should’ve taught it how to find food and slowly acclimated the bird to the outside world. If I had to choose, I would much rather give a wild animal a chance to fully mature and dedicate time to help it become independent and be totally free outside than keep it as a pet.

They will leave shortly and then return. Eventually leaving longer and longer until one day they decide they’re ready and leave forever. It’s a bittersweet moment. There are many benefits to having children who interact with animals as well as adults. For example, by taking care of pets, which are fragile, irreplaceable creatures and taking care of them, making it easier for them to grow Compassionate and warm hearted. Also, by observing changes in a pet that cannot talk on a daily basis, you can feel the effect of being gentle and sensitive to people's feelings. Both of these effects are created over a long period of time, not only by temporary contact, but also by the relaxing effect of being together. Even if you cannot live as a pet, it is a good idea to interact with the animals from time to time and support the animal channels🐈🐈😽🙏

      @@babyramses5066 don't worry. Toddlers are curious. Doesn't mean there is something wrong psychologically. 😒
      Just try positive reinforcement. Everytime the little one interacts nicely with the cat, make a medium sized deal out of it. I had a neighbor with the sweetest dog. But his toddler nephew kept grabbing her tail and hitting her. The neighbor would block him and tell him hitting hurts. Sometimes (and rightly so) my neighbor would get very angry with his nephew and ban him from being in the same room as his dog. One time he even lightly pinched him- if you can call it pinching, maybe squeezed is more accurate- on his arm and asked if this was ok. His nephew said he wasn't playing nice and my neighbor said: how do you think Melly feels everytime you pull her tail or hit her? His nephew was quiet for a long time then just went to the dog and hughed her and said he was so sorry. After that they were inseperable. Psychological problem my paw.

    • @Talk2WandaVision

      Birds will perch in the same spots over and over again. That’s where they will poop. So…you basically put newspaper or other paper below that and change regularly (constantly lol). You can’t housebreak a bird. They don’t usually poop in flight.
