I recorded all the free camera cutscenes using Frans Bouma camera tool available on his Patreon.
All raw footage were recorded and edited by me. The last scene was recorded multiple times (over 4 times) to get the best camera angles. Enjoy!

Immediately after Smasher shot down johnny he had a fight directly with Morgan Blackhand. No one knows what happened to Morgan but they fought on top of a tower that was blowing up. I'd love to see Morgan again to know if he at least survived that fight with Adam

One details I read about this scene is that this is just Johnny's version of the event, which actually explains why it feels more like an action movie scene (his gun can one shot anything, him being the center/mastermind behind the arasaka bombing, etc.) than an actual raid.
Would Defs explain it. But there is some truth (specifically all the dialogue is accurate)
Yea, this is a Militech sponsored team of punks led by Morgan Blackhand. Johnny being an unreliable narrator really helps keep things together.
It is even explained by Alt if you choose "It wasn't Johnny's fault". She will tell you that what you saw is how Johnny remembered them, not how the event actually played out.

@@plexyglass429 no it's not, it's Canon Johnny didn't even reach the roof, he was killed by Smasher (time skip is when be dies), as he was dying and Smasher moved to fight Morgan Blackhand, Spider Murphy used Soulkiller on Johnny. The dialogue isn't accurate because team members are missing and there's no mention of the second bomb.

the difference in smasher's appearence between before and after this encounter is chilling, in 2020 he was "full borg" but he still looked human, the nuke really did a number on him

its probably because that's not actually how it went down. Its his faulty memory of what happened. What really happened is they tortured the everliving fuck out of him and he blocked that out haaard.

That's because his memories are tempered with, the real Johnny got one shot by Adam Smasher, it was Morgan Blackhand and Militech that did all the cool stuff.

Only Smasher didn't kill him on the roof. He shot his arm and knocked him out. Arasaka killed Johnny with Soul Killer down in the Lab after his interrogation.
The events we experience in game are not actually what happened, just Johnny’s warped memories.
Smasher blew Johnny in half and while he was bleeding out, Spider Murphy used Soulkiller on Johnny, but Arasaka recovered the chip.
The whole thing was actually a Militech operation with Morgan Blackhand as the op lead, but Johnny wasn’t told about any of that.
That interrogation scene with Saburo didn’t happen. It’s probably either a complete fabrication or Johnny’s way of visualizing how his engram was “interrogated” while he was in Mikoshi.

The anime did bring people back but what redeemed it was CDPR themselves actually fixing the game. The anime wouldn't do much if they had left the game in it's original state.

@@QTEila Trigger did a great job, but CDPR is really the mvp here. It's them that really started this off, all honesty. Considering how the update aligned itself with the release of the anime, CDPR really planned it out well and in fact made a good choice to bring such an amazing writer to the anime.
Remember people, 4:43 is when Johnny Silverhand's ACTUAL death happens, not 8:08.

Some people like Johnny Silverhand for example, are so far in their heads, do drugs that get them high, and have a fair bit of PTSD involved are going to have a VERY skewed perception of how the world works and how the environment interacts with them; those kind of people can see the world only through a small slit/window, so their brain has to fill in the gaps with the knowledge that they do have (a fair bit of instinct and intuition help as well).
So all in all, it's a cycle, really: the world affects our perception, our perception affects our recollection of events, and our recollection of events affect our perception of the world.
in the TTRPG Cyberpunk, in which the game was based on, there's a mission where the group + morgan blackhand raids the arasaka tower, and to buy them some time to escape, johnny stays behind to fend off adam smasher and ends up getting ripped in half with a shotgun blast
That and Spider Murphy being the one that lit him up with Soulkiller in an attempt to save him, not Arasaka punishing him

It was Adam smasher who killed Johnny, what you see in this video is Johnnys memories and it's been stated multiple times by both Alt and devs that he's not a reliable narrator. It's Canon that Johnny was killed by Smasher and Spider Murphy used Soulkiller on him

I remember being so godly before even meeting Johnny that I literally just ran through everything. 100% crit chance/1600% crit damage with 400% crit damage on legendary katana buffed by melee perks. Was something like 30k-75k a swing if I applied area debuff lol. Wasn’t one thing in the game I essentially didn’t kill in 1-2 hits. Killed the hype tbh because I was too powerful so I’m excited to re-play it with the new updates.

That version of events didn’t happen. IIRC Johnny was actually almost blown in half by Smasher and Spider Murphy actually slots Soulkiller into him as he’s bleeding out.
That whole mission about nuking Arasaka tower happened way differently than what we experienced from Johnny’s “memories”
@@Silentguy_ Have the new sourcebook RED and that's good as confirmed. Johnny got an alternate story to feed Arasaka that covered up the fact there were three teams, that Morgan Blackhand was there, and that Militech provided the bombs.

They have a free moving camera so it could be some appearance mods.

CDPR isn't really famed for it's enemy AI design, donkey. Witcher 3 has some of the most basic bitch combat in any AAA game.

I never understood how the tower bomb worked. Johnny gets shot, Arasaka has time to evacuate him on foot, all before the bomb goes off?
That's not what happened, only what Johnny narrates. What actually happened was Smasher killed Johnny immediately after he enters the room, as he's dying Spider Murphy used Soulkiller on Johnny. There's no mention of the second bomb or the other 2 teams involved in the attack, Smasher fought his fiercest rival Morgan Blackhand immediately after one tapping Johnny. Johnny seems to be embarrassed about his death so narrates it to be more dramatic

@@ruiolavo2426 there's a ton of backstory to the game before it even released which is all Canon, Johnny contradicting that heavily and Alt telling V that Johnny isn't a reliable source indicates Johnny didn't show V his real memories. Probably because he was embarrassed by how easily he died or just because he had 50 years to replay his memories over and over again he eventually changed them. You don't think it's a bit weird how Johnny is lying on the ground in front of smasher then suddenly there's a random cut to him getting to the roof?
