The Nazo Puyo games are a spinoff of Compile's Puyo Puyo games. The Puzzle Mode of Puyo Puyo became popular enough to have their own games. This is the 1st of the Super Nazo Puyo games on the Super Famicom, published by Banpresto and developed by Compile. The full title of this game is Super Nazo Puyo- Rulue's Roux. The game's soundtrack was composed by BA.M, Einosuke Nagao, Tsuyoshi Matsushima, TAISHOW and SUPERKENTA.

I love the music in these old Compile games! I wonder what the joke with the curry cover was, lol.

The game was about a dispute between Arle and Rulue to see which one of the two would cook the best curry (it actually starts with the coincidental event of them both waking up and thinking "oh I'm so hungry I think I'm gonna buy some stuff to make curry for today's lunch" lmao). Then they meet in an alley and that's literally the leitmotif of the story of the game.
