@@theelliotthomestead I go back to your Lavender Shortbread video again and again ;-) It’s one of my very favorite ones! It’s the video that inspired me to grow my own lavender 💜
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for highlighting the gray area that is life, for showing the beauty of duality and how it is a blessing to live in a time where we can have a foot in both worlds. It’s easy to forget this and try to be 100% at one thing. Thank you Elliotts🖤
Your boys on the tractor made my 7 year old tractor drivin' son smile ear to ear. Tractors are his passion and he LOVED to see other boys enjoying one too.
Thank you for your thoughts on balance. Content makers that want us to think we need to be 100% off grid and totally self sufficient are defeating for most viewers.
Agreed. Living solely to prepare for a possible apocalypse & not enjoying life or appreciating the expertise/skills & fruits of other's labors is an immediate, isolating, & certain apocalypse of its own.
You are an artist Shay. In everything you do, I see grace about you and the way you've made your gardens and your food. I don't know if it was intentional but a person can see that in you. Your life is a beautiful tapestry I can see in my mind. I am not artistic but I can sure appreciate it though.
Hello,Elliott Homestead, I enjoy watching ur content, it's my peaceful time when I just relax and do nothing! Blessings to all of u ,from Trinidad! 🎉What I enjoy most is d quietness,no unnecessary talking or music to overpower everything!B well!
Thank you! So true! What a blessing to be able to enjoy all those foods you mentioned along with what we can grow ourselves. Even if it’s just herbs. The food & work is a blessing from the Lord! ☺️
Totally agree we live in a duality universe and only God dwells outside of that duality. Understanding that duality helps us be more adaptable in our lives and have less stress. Beautiful video and always enjoy your choice in music.
Hard work done by all👍👍. I can't believe how fast the weeds came in this year 😳! I love your Gardens. When they start to bloom, may we see them again? JO JO IN VT 💞
@@theelliotthomesteadI wonder (as herbs are just being sold in our area) which ones you've learned to plant near one another. I love the idea of a protégé garden and just picked out over half a dozen. Do you have to keep some inside to keep them going in your area?
I purchased extra virgin olive oil, sauces, pasta, honey, and spices from bona furtuna. Everything was wonderful. The olive oil was absolutely delicious; however, I noticed that it doesn't thicken up in the fridge. I found this strange and was curious why. Any ideas?
MadeIn! I LOVE THEM! I found out my vintage plates that I’ve collected over the years had lead, so we were swift and happy to replace them with something way better. I’ve been very impressed with the quality and how well they’ve cleaned up (AND DO NOT SCRATCH!). You can find them here (and get 10% off) here: madein.cc/0524-elliott
THESE are the types of videos that made me fall in LOVE with your channel!!!!

If you turned the transcript from this episode into wall art with one of your photos in the background, I would totally buy it!

One hundred percent off grid is for sure not happening these days. As stated, balance. Good comment
Some ppl cant afford to not be 100% off grid, they are out there but they are 10% or less

@@saintamerican6105 I'm one of them. I have no running water or electricity. I chose to live this way. Gov-mentals are hurting to much.
@pearlg6411 stated beautifully and truthfully

Thanks so much!
Your videos are heart warming and make me hungry!..lol. You show the essense of a good home.😊
Thank you!
Great video. I was wondering why Rex is always on a chain or leash. Unusual for a great pyrenees.
Oh my goodness. You still have your other dog. So handsome and sweet. I was worried and didn’t want to ask. ❤
Living on a farm is very hard work. I grew up on an Iowa farm and it was the best as a child.❤
That’s good to hear. So much of what we do is for our kids. My prayer is that they have the same fond memories when they grow up.
They will😊 Having all the pets& animals, learning a work ethic, knowing where there food comes from. It is all good❤
I love your videos! Thank you xx
