I just have to say, I absolutely love that y'all are going back to the old style of videos. It feels like we are infused in the conversation between you, Stu, and Juju. I have followed your channel for almost 5 years now! When I first started, I was a young 24 year old girl who knew absolutely nothing about gardening or cooking from scratch and now I am a wife, a homemaker, a cook, and a gardener. Your family and your way of life has inspired me more than you know. Thanks, again.

This was genius. It was not a staged cooking show. It was real cooking and real life. Please keep it coming. And love that Stuart was a part from beginning to end. Bravo!!!

I know I’m not the only one that gets giddy at these OG style Elliot Homestead vlogs. My absolute favorite! 🤗 And Juliette made this one so special. I love how you invite her in to participate. I grew up being kicked out of the kitchen. Love this!! ❤

I LOVE garden content where everything isn’t always picture perfect all the time. That’s the reality. I’ve been gardening for years and I love when creators show the entire process! Inspiration, knowledge, hard work and then you get the rewarding results. Also, I love the chats between you and your husband! Wonderful!

I always put the chickens in the garden area during the winter, they eat everything that's left and completely clears it for next spring. I also compost all the dirty straw. Everywhere i dig I find tons of worms... It's going to be a great year I think.. gl & hf!

American pastas have short oven dry times. Great Italian pastas have a long (24- 48 hour ) air drying time. Makes a huge difference. You are absolutely right that the grain also makes a difference.

I feel your spring garden clean pain - I’ve noticed others too. I think it’s because everything was still producing and beautiful late right up to the first hard freeze. Then it was so cold to go out and clean up. BUT true the critters all loved the seeds and cover & it is coming out easy now. No shame☺ Such a delicious hearty meal - now on this weeks menu Thanks!!!
Was a fun video!! Juju is a total Doll!!🥰

Just think of all the caterpillars that loved that fennel! Great way to pollinate. I am exhausted in the evenings after work trying to get yard work done in the hour before it gets dark of course I am old and don't have the animals or children to care for, only my 93 year old dad. So looking forward to daylight savings time this weekend.

Have you all watched "The Bear" it's about a chef Its a series on Hulu. A young chef from the fine dining world comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after a heartbreaking death in his family. A world away from what he's used to, Carmy must balance the soul-crushing realities of small business ownership, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff and his strained familial relationships, all while grappling with the impact of his brother's suicide. As Carmy fights to transform both the shop and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveals itself as his chosen family. I think you would enjoy it.

Can I ask why the need to pull all the plants by the roots as opposed to just cutting the base of the stem?
I think this is the first time ever I have heard that sweet Stewart put his foot down. Reminded me of my husband. My brother can verbally joust, debate, outright yell at me all day and it is just another thing to shake off my back, but when my everloving, gentle husband gives a firm line..I get scurred ; )

I enjoy your videos, but I just have to say the way you explained the pasta, made it seem like this company’s pasta is the only one that does ridges. You were making rigatoni, all rigatoni has those ridges, so that the sauce can cling to it. Just like you said. But it’s not exclusive to your pasta company.

He's literally the backbone of the entire operation. You must not watch many of their videos if you can't appreciate that.
