WOW! You went 7 miles per hour faster than Chevy's top speed claim of the Z51.
The Z51 has a rear wing that adds downforce and decreases top-end speed.
He doesn't have the z51 wing here. Which is 186mph top speed and the top with no wing is 195. (Per- CorvetteBlogger)

Keep in mind there was a 15~18 mph tailwind during these runs so the results are very optimistic!

Notice the Green Flag at the starting line. It wasn't a direct Tail Wing.

I did not remove the rear wing. When you get the Z51 Package, I requested Spoiler Low Wing. Code TVS-SPOILER RR

No, I didn't remove the rear wing. I elected for the Low Profile Wing on the Z51 Package.
@@donpavlik6554 It still helps quite a lot with reducing downforce and aiding top end speed compared to the high-profile rear wing setup that some Z51 Package Corvettes have.

if you look closely it's a z51 because it has a small front splitter but they removed the rear spoiler to achieve top speed. That's why many people confuse it with the basic version
I did not remove the rear spoiler. I ordered the small spoiler not the larger one. Z51 Option Spoiler Low Rear.

Make sure your car has gone through the 1,500 Mile Break-In Period first. Consult your Owner's Manual and watch out for the Cops.

I'm really surprised to see these modern Corvettes struggling to achieve 180 MPH.
I would have thought 200 MPH would be considered standard for a vehicle with the reputation that Corvettes have.
Aero is the only thing that makes the z51 slower at top speed than the non-z51. Obviously any aero changes will affect the top speed of each version accordingly.
With the Z51 package, GM claims a top speed of 184mph. This is closer to the base Stingray's 194mph top speed.
It looks like this z51 has the rear wing delete which kills top speed due to drag

I have some doubts that is a Z51. The rear spoiler is 1 indication (not a Z51 spoiler - is a low profile spoiler usually on Non Z51's). The Back Disk Brakes looks too small......
It’s probably not a Z51, but there’s a small chance that the testers have simply removed the rear wing. They’ve removed the speed limiters of previous cars (like an F-150 Raptor they managed to get 134 mph out of), so a rear spoiler delete is not completely out of the question.

Z51 PERFORMANCE BRAKES W/Z51 LOGO ON CALIPERS. The Black Calipers with the Corvette Z51 logo are the same for the front and rear. Perhaps you saw the Emergency Brake Calipers on the rear, which indeed are smaller.
I also opted for the FRONT LIFT ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT MEMORY at $2,260.00. Z51 PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION W/MAGNETIC SELECTIVE RIDE CONTROL at $1,895.00. TOTAL VEHICLE PRICE (without tax) was $81,090.00
The non z51 is faster in top speed less weight and you need the z51 exhaust no wing

Sadly my old c6 was just as fast top end verifed and ice been in c6 that hit past 200 woth 3 bolt ons (headers exhaust intake).. undoubtedly this is a good platform but isn't as aerodynamically efficient as the previous two generations if they would have revised a little bit of the aerodynamics and been able to hit 200 in this price range they would have had a killer imagine a 200 mile an hour supercar for around 65 to 70,000
