    Dear Segway,
    A simple battery replacement shouldn't be this difficult. If you produce the GT3 version, please take these criticisms into consideration...

    It's very easy to replace the battery! On GT3 try to make it harder! 😂

    battery replacement should be very easy shame to engineers who builded this contraption

    Uhmmm… Why it has to be made such way to simply change battery? Far away from being simple and convenient like some other scooters you can simply take off battery with you to inside and then put it back simply, why it has to be this kind of struggle? Surely these battery changes should be far away from one another but still…?!

    You mean do not replace the battery, just throw away right?

    Doesn't seem more complicated than fixing the aluminum bolt on the front wheel of the Nami Burn E2.

    😢Don't buy ONE people The scooter is well-built but has a lot of issues in the electronic part of the unit and off of reviews from people having problems with them I cannot buy one now because I'm scared to have problems with the $4,000 scooter. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND LOOK AT ALL THE REVIEWS.

      @@segwaysend me a GT1 and I will test it out and report what I find on my channel. I am probably going to buy the f65 and review that. The F35 is nice for a 100-200 pound person but could use a little more battery capacity. I already reviewed that one in a quick sort of way. I really do see a need for everyone to have these for around town rather than a car. I prefer to use it over the bike with trailer although the trailer really makes things easier. I might get the 10mph one for the 7 year old boy eventually but waiting for him to be.... Safer.

    It looks like a total cheap mess!
    For a company which prides itself for being the world top (and most expensive) scooter producer I would expect a much better battery assembly design and solution.
    Perhaps for every electric vehicles the battery is the most important and expensive component yet Segway provides NO information regarding what brand cells they use which means they use CHEAP cells!

    Y’know…I maintain and repair 3 scooters out of my garage. I considered this scooter recently because the Megatron edition seemed pretty cool. And while I’m perfectly capable of doing what this video shows, my time is way to valuable to be taking apart and reassembling a jigsaw puzzle like this. I’m sure this scooter is a gem to ride but….no fricking thank you. This video confirms it’s not worth the time and energy at $3k. Go back to the drawing board and erase a bunch of shit and maybe I’d reconsider, lol.

      But you also realize that you will probably never ever do this until let’s say in 5-8 years when you battery range dropped significantly and you really still have this scooter and want to replace the battery yourself?

    • @davida7284
      @davida7284 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@Seitenwerk meh, if it’s for work commute like me, it won’t be 5-8 years. Besides, other components break down first and the same puzzle would need to be navigated. Very casual users?…go for it👍🏻
