The warning at the start of the video is there for people who rather not hear his voice.
These events have been recorded at least a month or two in advance, and Hoyo is currently busy finding a new voice actor for Tighnari.
Since this is also a limited time event, it's safe to say that we won't get to hear this event with his new voice.
Sad, but I hope they can find someone to fit Tighnari's sassiness as Elliot once did.

Just so people know, these voice lines for Tighnari in this event were recorded long before all the news came out about Elliot and unfortunately hoyo didn't have time to find a new va and re-record the lines
Just to add, Thoma's VA started recording his lines shortly after the release of Genshin. That's how advanced they are.

Allow me to say this but let’s not associate the character of Tighnari with his voice actor. He is an amazing character who had an awesome role in the story and game let’s not let his voice actor ruin the fun for us.
Yes, true, this should be said to all the people who attack Tighnari mains and/or those fans who still like him.
people are just simply not comfortable and could not bare with the eng tighnari voice. im sorry but i absolutely hate when people use "the voice isnt the character!" every time, like i get it but that's not the point of the warning

I'm scanning the event on YT on mute before I play and I'm so sad/mad I'm gonna miss Khoi and Alejandro's work because I just can't with the EN dub right now for the same reason as well.
Same, I want to hear most of the eng cast, tbh, but now I can't until they recast Tighnari.
CN and KR are also great options! I have CN and it feels very fitting!

Tbh i associate the voices of the characters as the voices of the fictional characters rather than real people its a relly good gift but whenever the va has a scandal the chatacter's voice changes my brain processes it at a deeper or highter pitched voice for Tighnari his voice became higher pitched in my head in the past i percieved Tighnari's voice was deeper

But we know Hoyoverse and Eng director need time to find another eng va for him, so we should understand and waiting for it.
The VA doesn't represent the character they play, and vice-versa. Please learn to separate talent from personal actions.

I’m confused, I thought the VA changed cuz he sounds different. Idk why. For me he sounds so different. Lower voice, different tone. So I thought the VA changed.
I would have much rather they kept Tighnari's lines mute. I know it would break with the immersion in the game, but it's better than giving this creep any type of attention. Oh well, time to switch to JP or CN for the event.

They haven't found anyone new yet
They have already recorded everything long time ago and didn't find anyone to voice tighnari yet
Because lines are recorded months in advance and replacing him doesn't happen in the blink of an eye. They've said that once they have a new VA they will go back and re-record the lines.
I think this was recorded long before all that stuff came out about Elliot
since this is a limited time event, it's safe to expect that we wont get to hear this event with his new voice unfortunately
