My husband and I have been together for almost 5 years now and he left for Navy basic training yesterday 🥺 a lot of crying on my end 🥲 I am 18 he is 19 and we have been together since we were 13 and are soulmates 💕 this helps thank you. I’m in a school to be an esthetician and will luckily be licensed by the time he is done with basic and school! Then we are moving together 🌍💪🏻 I appreciate this video

Hey for every branch there is a thing called a MY CCA grant for people with spouse that are in the military. It is great of you are looking into going into college. They can also give you their GI bill but it depends on the GI bill they have

So everyone's saying we (our 2 sons, dog and I) won't be able to go with my husband to AIT, although it's 37 weeks. Some are saying he'll go to AIT in one state for phase 1, and then once he passes that he'll get a new order and then move to another state for the rest of AIT and that's when we'll go -- but that's what I heard. Either way, I'm terrified of him being away the whole time at AIT, that's almost a whole pregnancy. Not to mention if we do go after he passes phase one, I'll have to move all of our kids and dog myself. I've never moved long distance before and never taken a plane, nevermind w a 3 year old and 7 month old (he'll be 7m around when we move, if we do) and dog. I'm terrified!

He graduated basic got 10 day leave we got married one of those days an headed t our new duty station an we stayed in a hotel in the army base that they coved and he In rolled me into DEERS as a dependent and we looked for an apt to rent !!
I was told by a recruiter that they pay for your college even the partners college
