To all stay home mamas with little love ones my advice to you before your SIT head to BCT the most important things to take care of your personal affairs please please spend your $$ wisely and don’t depend on your hubby the check and the BAH because it’s can take to 45 days this is the problem I see among us new army wife.#2 if your husband will at his bct don’t panic if you don’t hear from him for two weeks no news is good news and don’t go on any Army BCT Facebook groups and whining about your husband will be gone for to long and how you gonna miss him and don’t whinnying about him for being to deploy we gotta stay strong pray for them every day have hope and faith I know it hard but that’s what we signed up for.

    QUESTION:
    QUESTION:
If me (fresh O-1) and my wife (no children) choose to live on base:
    - how many bedrooms can we expect to have? i was hoping for 3. (1 bedroom, 1 office, 1 for guests/future baby).
    - is base housing loud because of all the planes and trucks moving around all day?
    - can we bring our rifles (civilian owned) on base with us?

Hi, I love your videos. I am older but I love hearing about military life. My son was at Fort Benning to do his basic, Airborne, and Ranger training so we were there several times. My grandson is there now doing basic and he graduates in January. We are coming down for that. Looking forward to going to Burger King!! You seem like you handle things really well...

I enjoy your videos for the most part but shit pay come on. Assuming your married to an e4 if he's been in more than 5 and not at least an e5 he needs to get cracking. With base pay, bah, and bas he is bringing home around $49,500 or so. Yes you live on post and they take the bah. But that's your choice. And around Benning you are better off on post. But you pay no power no water etc... I sure you pay basically nothing in taxes being from Florida (no income tax) and you pay very little federal with three dependents. And then get a big refund at the end of the year due to child tax credits. And you pay zero on medical which can cost 500 to 1000 a month with the size of your family. Please make sure you push all the info. I just finished 25 years and I know what I'm talking about. Have a good day

So my wife says she would support me in whatever I choose to do but she doesn’t know how she would handle having 2 Babies and me being gone plus her being away from family after basic.. plus neither of us have immediate family in the military so they all don’t think it’s a good idea. Army has always been a calling for me any advice?

I’m engaged to a Uk veteran but met him few years later after he retired from the army. In his mind he is still a soldier. He hates civil life.

Hey all! My boyfriend is looking into joining the Air Force full-time. I would love to move on-base with him as we have been together for a while so I know I’m going to marry him. The problems I have are a couple: I haven’t finished college and want to start-up nursing school on-base if possible. I just don’t know if he could get stationed somewhere else. But, I also want to have a family and tons of kids 😂...I hear that the kids would be moving around frequently depending on where my (now) boyfriend would be stationed. Does anyone have experience or knowledge regarding military kids and spouses trying to attain a nursing degree??? Thanks 😊
