can't you software flash to a 30fps firmware ? my camera allowed soo much hacking via installing aftermarket software, gps, longer films and 4k "video" at 3 -8 fps
Should have gotten the Panasonic G7 tbh. It's a mirrorless, costs just about as much as the VX870 with the kit lens included, offers 1080p60 and 4K30 even on the European version, and it's pretty much endlessly customizable with lenses, external mics and lights and pretty much whatever else. It's much easier to upgrade just lenses than an entire camera. Anyway, enjoy your new equipment.
With the 14-42mm lens the camera cost 500$: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X409O6O/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_9?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1LD8YQ23K3G6J It has 4 times optical zoom.
As someone who started their journey of home video making on mirrorless, I can tell you that camcorder are KING when it comes to convenience. I would much rather use something that just works and does it all (be it at the cost of sharpness and low light capabilities)
Hey phillip, not sure you read comments but I felt I had the best chance of this being seen here. I like to play video games, especially coop story since there is usually replayability in them, but solo gaming is sometimes iffy to me. I have nearly 40 games in my steam library from sales and sorts that are singleplayer games, yet I never finish them, why some may ask. Of the few games I finished recently(Shadow of mordor, portal, dishonored) most probably felt great after that, they had been entranced by the great stories and loved every second of it, and while I may have, after I am just left with a feeling of depression. I really don't know how to fix this, and it makes me just pile games up I never end up playing. Any tips? I have half life 2 in my library and have had it for like 3 years nearly and still havent gotten past like the airboat part. What is wrong with me.
+Snow it depends on exposure. If you've seen a slow motion camera then the slower it is the darker the images are since they have less time to expose. I don't get how higher resolution changes exposure though.
I don't care about cameras but I just love so much Philip that I watch everything he puts up. Stay great!

Valve please fix

I don't think he wan to ruin his warranty yet
I actully think the low-light-grain of the new camera looks great! :)
I glad you're please with your purchase, It's always nice when you can justify buying something you kinda want anyway.
2:35 to 2:45 on loop. hours of excitement
Excellent video - and I love your presenting style...... 👌👍😃✔✔✔✔
Oh, but I was actually expecting hours of fun from this 4 minute video :(
:(

got my new glasses today, looks like i'm not the only one to upgrade my vision today :D
image stabilisation may be making it zoom in..
Try flashing it with the US firmware.
...or don't cause you might brick it.
How many storage drives do you own, you seem to record a LOT of footage, at 4k no less!

Is that a Nicolas Cage mug I see on your desk? xD
As far as I know, the higher your resolution gets the darker the image will become.
I hope you're joking.
not really xD I said as far as I know, im not certain so don`t hate m8!

At higher resolutions, an equivalent ISO sensitivity requires more gain in the DSP, adding noise.
Surely there's a setting for changing between NTSC (30fps) and PAL (25fps) ???
But can it run Crysis?
The new one has a greater dynamic Range :3
I think maybe you can try to install a new firmware onto your camera, if you can get the US firmware
Might brick it

Anyone else's OCD kicking in with those roof patterns split in half?
It's pretty where you live.
+Player7385 haha same
The younger Philip part was a bit weird for me, because im young and my name is Philipp, but with 2 Ps at the and :D
I've seen this before
You need to understand about focal length and crop factor to understand the field of view.
No dislikes here.
So not bots then?(At least not on each video(or maybe they're just slow))
I live in the same place as you but I whiny say where it is because of your privacy
You should rather go for a mirrorless camera like the Sony a6300.
Why?
Mostly higher customizability, y'know, the ability to get all sorts of lenses and stuff that mounts on the hot shoe, like external mics and lights.
PeeHooo Because of all the options you get with it, and that it has a lot more uses.
Dslr I'd day would be better, that camera doesn't have a fully articulating screen or an external mic jack
***** You can flip it over though
50 FPS? what the heck
UK standard. Same with AC.
Not just UK, Europe too.
That's the same as saying "Not Texas, The US too." The UK is part of Europe, should have said "Not just UK, the rest of Europe too".
I just wanted to futureproof my comment. Ever heard about something called "brexit"?
I hate it too, but we have to accept it.
+cyancoyote the UK will still be a part of Europe, just not the EU
from this video i will find out where you live and post a Picture i drew through your letter box
