  • I have owned a Panasonic HC-VX870 4K UHD Camcorder for 5 years now and have captured many different things on it. This video is just some shots taken with the camcorder when out and about.
It includes sights from Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Glibraltar, France, Marocco and Ireland, both Northern & Southern.
All has been filmed in 4K 25fps at 72mb/s fully automatic with no enhancements or colour grading. The sound is from the built in microphones. Only thing added is a title and some transitions on Cyberlink Power Director 13.
Thanks for watching this little video review.

Thanks for uploading this, came to check out the video quality from the camera. Which is great by the way, then stayed to watch the rest.

Many thanks for checking out my video. It is great you stayed to watch the rest. Although that camera is out of production, there are still ones very similar from Panasonic using the same sensor and processing engines. The big advantage of this one is lack of weight. I have another camera now but kept this one to use when I need a light 4k video camera.

I'm self isolating now due to covid contact. Fit and well I am but gotta stay in, so I cobbled together this video. Glad you enjoyed it. It is just places I have been over the past few years. I trust all is well with you. Take care and stay safe.

Does this camera shoot in 24fps and does it also shoot in slow motion? Anyone who sees this can answer as well.

It doesn't do 24fps or slow motion. It does film at 50fps or 60fps at 1080p depending on region which can be slowed down to 1/2 speed. I hope this helps.

Really nice colours for such old model, ia this footage straight from the camera or did you adjust anything in editing?

I should mention, I own an HC-VXF1 and a Sony FDR-AX53, but want to complete the arsenal with something less expensive and a bit more portable.

That is straight from the camera. I still use this camera today as it is very light and manageable. It is very similar in size to your HC-VXF1. The only thing missing for me is an electronic viewfinder but that is a very minor complaint. Good luck in your search. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

nice , I still have mine as well , as yet I have not found a better one for the price point that this one was , still on the original battery as well , can't be bad :-)

I have to agree, for the price it is absolutly brilliant. Nothing comes close. I've almost been tempted to buy a pro level one recently, an HC-x1500, but have refrained. I also created custom profiles on my Power Director to match the camera which is fantastic. Probably not be as good on YT due to the compression though. I trust all is well and thanks for watching.

@HAMSTER BIZARRE I have matched my bitrate of 72mbs at 4k 25fps on an MP4 file. Seems to work very well. RUclips compresses the file so not quite as good as on my 4k TV but it is acceptable. Thanks for watching.
