  • This video is to show you how I change the bulb in the side repeater unit, on my 2013. Suzuki Alto. If you choose to do this yourself on your own vehicle, then you do so at your own risk. I can't be held responsible for any damage to either yourself, or your car. If in any doubt, take it to your local garage, and they will do it for you.
    Thank you for watching.

      Thank you Michael. It's a type 501 capless. It's the same as in the number plate and high level brake lights too. Hope that helps.

    Should we be pressing to the "Left" for both the sides?

    • @DavidGarside
      @DavidGarside  6 лет назад

      Joe A. Yes, both sides on my car were pushed to the left to release them.

    • @DavidGarside
      @DavidGarside  6 лет назад

      Right hand side of car, push towards the door, left hand side of car towards the headlight. This is what my manual said and they came off first time. So unless someone has already removed them, and replaced them upside down or something, check your manual says the same first.

    Thanks! Is it the same system for the suzuki swift?

    • @DavidGarside
      @DavidGarside  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. To be honest, I'm not sure as i haven't seen one. I do know that some other parts are the same on both models though. Have a look in your manual as it may give you details on how to change it. Sorry I can't be more help. Thank you for watching.

      @@DavidGarside No, I already checked for the 2015 suzuki swift; all the bulb and the housing Assembly must be replaced. Crazy!

    • @DavidGarside
      @DavidGarside  7 месяцев назад +1

      That's a bit of a backward step by Suzuki I think. Why change it when it's such an easy and cheap job to just change a bulb. I agree, crazy.

    Which side is this pls?

    • @DavidGarside
      @DavidGarside  6 лет назад

      This is the nearside (left), but both sides push the same way to the left according to the book. Thank you.

    lost the wire inside, how do i find it now ? :(

    • @DavidGarside
      @DavidGarside  Год назад

      Try a bent piece of wire like a coat hanger to hook it out with. Be careful though. You may have to undo the inner wheel arch if you can't find it.

      @@DavidGarside nice ideea. I'll try that, if not succesul, i'll try with the wheel arch(trying to take out just a bit of it, not all to grab the wire maybe)

      Good luck. I have a video on here of how to remove the blind trim rivets....might be helpful if they're the same type.
