Man's out here saving us time while he spends an eternity chicken racing, appreciated, lol
The method I used to upgrade the blacksmith was that I'd aim for around 150; - 200k tags on the chicken betting then use half of it to buy silver hammers, and the other half to buy platinum plates to buy the bundle blades and for the crafting fee as well
Once I sell those platinum plates I'd go and buy a bunch of the bundle blades and craft the keen blade with a silver hammer to get it to the blue "good" grade and then craft the stonecarver with another silver hammer which will get it to the gold "best" grade. After all that, then that's when I would donate it.
I didn't really use this method until like around chapter 10 but it pretty much helped me get from level 10 to 20 real quick.
It's definitely more efficient and helps avoid carpel tunnel. Best part is the Materials shop in the Blacksmith carries all of the materials for Keen Blade and Stonecarver.
ngl you after all these years of dedication, you should've been one of the elite troop card DLC in ISHIN!. your contribution to the Yakuza community is massive and we appreciate it.
i get Cohh is a big fan of the Yakuza franchise but why tf is rahul kohli and kevin nash in the game? 😂😂 it's so random...
Rahul is a huge fan of the series as well, and talks about it every chance he gets.
I DO agree that DevilLeon should get a card though.
Im about to finish Ishin myself(only left with the grinding before the final act).
Your guides are really helping me out, thank you
When you say "finish" does that mean that you've done all the substories and completion tasks?
I've been playing this since the 17th, and I'm nowhere near finishing it!
I'm on chapter 5 and have just been introduced to the horrible card system. But then I've also done 60% of the completion stuff plus 80% of everything else.
Unless you haven't slept at all for the last week, I just don't see how you could be even close to finishing the game unless you've only done the story...
@@SpaceCattttt the main story, i first play for my own fun and then grind the substories and bonds
@@shalev5155 Fair enough. But then you have a loooong way to go before you finish, my friend. The grind is real in this game!
Amazing video thank you. I’m at the point where money is no longer an issue and I was wondering how hard this grind was gonna be, needing to maybe build up a lot of low tier weapons to max quality to get the most from donations, but “just buy a million bundle blades 4head” makes a lotta sense
A better method I learned from AllstarBrose's video would be to buy 98 Silver Hammers and 106 Bundle Blades, then donate 55 of those Bundle Blades to get Blacksmith level 5. Next, upgrade your Bundle Blades into Keen Blades and then Stonecarvers with Silver Hammers to make them all Gold. You'll need the appropriate number of Iron Scrapes (245) , Metal Sheets (245) , Volcanic Ash Fragments (93), and Lime Powder (49) as well. When done, donate all the Gold tier Stonecarvers and get max Blacksmithing level from all this. MUCH faster than just buying and donating Bundle Blades over and over again.
Thank you. This is by far the best way. Your comment should be pinned because your method is 1000 times quicker than the method shown in the vid. It just requires more money but I have a ton from farming ginseng and selling it
@@xXTheBigMatt94xX I'm glad you liked it. All I wanted to do is show people a faster way to do it because devil lion's channel has a higher subscription count and would be more likely to be visited than the video I received this information from.
Glad I’m not the only one who thought of this, when I was figuring out how to level up the blacksmith this came in my mind and I instantly thought, this is the stupidest way to level it up but I don’t see any other option.”
Same
It may be stupid, but if we did it the way the developers hope we will, it would take years...
Making them into gold weapons with the silver hammers was a lot faster and if money isn't an issue (or hammers I guess) then it makes getting to level 20 the better option.
11-15 it fills the bar fast and if it'd almost filled you can use the base weapons to fill the remaining bar so the gold weapon isn't wasted. 15-20 is a little more grindy but way less grindy than just using base weapons.
The levels increases more if you use the hammers and materials to forge them into a higher level blade, which was what I did.
I think this video really highlights how outdated and unintuitive the menus of these games are; instead of letting you select a quantity, you have to select every single one individually, instead of walking over pick up items, you have to examine each of them, you can't buy inventory items directly to your storage, so you have to keep running back and forth between the shop and Jizo statues, come on guys...
Yeah exactly, old Yakuza games are great but there has been some great quality of life improvements over the years. Picking up tickets is a pain. At least we have auto save…
Some nice tip when I play: during the equipment donation, use the Analog stick to select the items instead of D-pad, menu very sensitive to the analog stick allow you to deposit items faster and you don't have to tap down and right for every choices
You are the best. Still haven't gotten myself to play but I'll just be watched all your tips beforehand
I grinded SO MANY encounters disarming them to take their swords before I went to arms dealer and saw that he sold them for pretty cheap.
I was making bullets like an idiot until I realized this was a better option - thanks for letting people know boss
Lol the entire new Ishin crafting system looks really complex and here is our man explaining it like basic thing. Really helped out.
“Quick” is used very lightly.
I did it that way because that was the only way I noticed the blacksmith leveling up properly, plus it’s the cheapest. But my thumb hates me now.
Hoped I missed some amazing way to level it up even faster but nope. I guess I should be glad.
thanks for the tip … when i get to play ishin the guides sure will save me time
Thank you so much for uploading this, i was actually struggling with this too
Leon coming in clutch with these guides
This short 59 sec clip stopped me from quitting the game 35 hours in. Bravo
Thanks for this man! I love your videos and I've always watched them when I play the Yakuza games on my Series X! 😎👍🏾
thanks man, you really are the best Yakuza youtuber lmao
Dude your a good guy, great video and you didn't bullshit, thanks man😊
Quick and to the point, nice
Thanks a lot for this. I didn't count but I probably spent around 200 ryo to max it out if anyone's wondering. It also helps to make a macro for the donating part if you're playing on PC
FIRST! But hey Leon I have a difficult time doing the chicken race when u explained it but the fact the least favorite chicken clutches up the race. Is there a different way to become rich?
There probably is. I've personally been only doing chicken races, but I've been hearing about people making money with Haruka's farm, but I think it's a slower method.
Ik what you mean but it's just luck based even if you pick the "best" chicken. Just try it over and over again and eventually you'll get rich
Just put on a video or smth
@@antiproductive4131 Great idea with watching something on the side. That's exactly what I do when I visit the chicken races, I don't want to think about what would happen to my mental health if I were to look only at the game like that 🤣🤣
@@antiproductive4131 Whats funny its the bad chickens that won I nearly lost my shit But ill try Haruka's Farm
@@GHOSTSYDE Idk if you've seen the new video but there is a glitch to make the chicken race super easy
you can get swords from golden gooses with circle swordsman parry and they'll drop their weapon - I've gotten some decent swords from there (with elements) and donate it away; it's a good side hustle assuming you don't want to spend 2 hours actively donating 1000 mon blades
Oh hell yeah, will absolutely do this right now because I noticed the leveling was super slow
KEEP MAKING MORE GUIDES! OTHERWISE IMMA GIVE UP ON THE PLATINUM SAVE USSSS 😭
I like to do this with just loincloths. Just because I think it's the funniest thing to donate in bulk to a blacksmith
kinda bummed out lol, I had already figured out this strategy and figured it was the intended method. Was hoping for something even faster lol
Thank you Leon but OH MY GOD! 707 ryo 😳😳👏👏👏
I've already use this method. THX!
Thanks for the tips!
I was hoping something faster because I thought of this already and it seemed very expensive. Now with the help of chicken racing glitch I could just go and do this
So you're definitely the most informative and helpful. What is the best way to farm seals? I'm looking for the Rapid fire for my model 14 and some of the Attack breaks guard and attack against armored enemies for my sword. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Wow thanks a lot mate for this tips.. i dont know like how to level up fast blacksmithing.. i want to donate but i dont have much a lot of stuff such like sword or any else coz i know its the only way to level up blacksmith but i didnt know u had the trick like that in video.. okat i will try that..just wanted craft some lockedweapon that has to be unlocked first but have to uprgading the level blacksmithing..
I don't think I've ever pressed the X button so many times!
will you make a guide for the easiest/ fastest way to farm the final dungeon?
To tell the truth specifically worn swords are actually a much better option among swords you can buy there, as they give as much blacksmith exp as handy blade (if not slightly more). It isn't as obvious on higher levels but very noticeable early game ( but even then lost exp does stack...)
Also will there be a guide for healing consumables? And is premium (no mistakes made) homemade croquette is the best option (full heal+some heat), and does exp boosting equipment stacks with Srewd Castella?
Btw Croquette recipe isn't locked behind kitchen upgrade but is tied to a side mission, with decently upgraded farm, ingredients for it are practically dirt cheap...
I was really hoping that this wasn't the best way lol. T_T
Or, if you don't want to spend any money (because let's sey you want to keep al ryo from chicken races) you can disarm enemies with a specific Swordsman or Gunman skill. But that won't be fast...at all
This game is great, but the grind, my goodness, the worst thing is that I've completed every other yakuza 100% with all achievements so I feel obligated.
Whats the hammer point or idicator or icon on the top of the blacksmith interface, though? Can we find it like its a hammer item?
If anyone is wondering how much money it costs it cost me around 185 ryo to go from level 1 to level 20
Damn, so you really need to farm the chicken race for ryo then
so like yakuza 5 leveling up kamiya except not as tedious
How many tags / ryo do you need btw to be set for life in the game. Like enough to get everything u need done. Blacksmithing etc.
I saw a comment say 8500 ryo for completionists so around 9100 ryo and you'll be good, just do the chicken race exploit.
I'm not gonna lie brother I can't stand that chicken race I'll just be trapping in the dungeons like I did on vanilla ishin ❤
How do I level up faster? I'm level 70 and want to get to 99 but idk what to do other than dungeon grinding
Is getting blacksmith levels high the only way to get Enhanced Rounds since I’m trying to get some
Donate swords
🙏
My fingers,ughhh
anytips on chicken racing? I want 100k points for gold gun
this is the only blacksmith shop in this game right? Was there any others?
Me farming be like
How many swords do you have to buy to get to level 20?
about 995
bro stop saying peace like that
Does this work in the original?
I'm not sure, sorry :(
no
Easy pay!! Need +80 swords just for 1 level 🫠
