How can you not like this guy? Never forgot Kuze's legendary quote in 0: "I'll let you in a little something. The yakuza game, it's not like boxing. The man who gets beat down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end, he's the one who loses." Definitely looking forward to his performance in Ishin.
That quote nvr gets old. I'm glad he's in the remake
My favorite line was “Kiryu, you say you want to be a Yakuza, but a punk like you are more like a Yakuza 0 to me.”
Yeah, but what I love is how in Nishiki’s fight in Yakuza Kiwami, Nishiki says “I will be a Yakuza Kiwami too! (Yakuza Kiwami 2)” but he failed in doing so, and in the next game, we meet Ryuji and he already is a Yakuza Kiwami as well, so when he meets Kiryu at The Grand, he says “I heard a lot about you, and how you are a Yakuza Kiwami. Funny, I am Yakuza Kiwami too (Yakuza Kiwami 2)” and then the vine thud happens as it zooms into Kiryu’s face. Bravo Hideo Kojima

Yakuza 0 was the landmark title for the series in the West, and Kuze was a massive contributing factor to it's popularity. So, kudos to Mr. Ozawa.

It's so so heartwarming for Hitoshi to react to the fact that Kuze has become such a popular character even internationally. I hope we get a "ITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" just as loud as "KUZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" from our resident totally-never-killed-a-man counterpart.

It's safe to say of all the original characters for Yakuza 0, Kuze was probably the most popular. And sure the writing and design of him was fantastic, but no way would it have been as iconic without Ozawa's incredible acting.

Yes! Been looking forward to see him again he did such a great job in Yakuza 0 one of the best villains of all time even my favorite video game villain of time tied with Bob Page / Walton Simons from Deus Ex.

So happy he and the other actors playing the Dojima lieutenants are back, they were all wonderful additions to Yakuza 0 with Kuze easily becoming my favorite of the bunch. Their voices are so great.
Good to see SEGA and RGG Studio are acknowledging us overseas fans and our demands, gotta love them for that

A legend in the Japanese gangster/noir genre. Man oozes charisma & ferocity all at the same time! Definitely one of the coolest antagonists in the Yakuza series hands down.
I would really hope for Kuze to get his own game or at least spin off. All the Lieutenants from 0 were very interesting
