How can you not like this guy? Never forgot Kuze's legendary quote in 0: "I'll let you in a little something. The yakuza game, it's not like boxing. The man who gets beat down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end, he's the one who loses." Definitely looking forward to his performance in Ishin.
Yeah, but what I love is how in Nishiki’s fight in Yakuza Kiwami, Nishiki says “I will be a Yakuza Kiwami too! (Yakuza Kiwami 2)” but he failed in doing so, and in the next game, we meet Ryuji and he already is a Yakuza Kiwami as well, so when he meets Kiryu at The Grand, he says “I heard a lot about you, and how you are a Yakuza Kiwami. Funny, I am Yakuza Kiwami too (Yakuza Kiwami 2)” and then the vine thud happens as it zooms into Kiryu’s face. Bravo Hideo Kojima

It's so so heartwarming for Hitoshi to react to the fact that Kuze has become such a popular character even internationally. I hope we get a "ITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" just as loud as "KUZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" from our resident totally-never-killed-a-man counterpart.
Kuze is easily one of the best characters in the entire Yakuza franchise and I'm super happy they got the legendary character back for the Ishin remake! Also absolutely love that they're finally releasing these interviews internationally with subtitles. Please keep them coming!
That guy made me jump out of my seat, thats how good his performance was, even though i cant understand what he says directly, he still gave so much life to the subtitles for me i could feel the heat, whenever he was present, absolute legend
Yes! Been looking forward to see him again he did such a great job in Yakuza 0 one of the best villains of all time even my favorite video game villain of time tied with Bob Page / Walton Simons from Deus Ex.
So happy he and the other actors playing the Dojima lieutenants are back, they were all wonderful additions to Yakuza 0 with Kuze easily becoming my favorite of the bunch. Their voices are so great.
It's safe to say of all the original characters for Yakuza 0, Kuze was probably the most popular. And sure the writing and design of him was fantastic, but no way would it have been as iconic without Ozawa's incredible acting.
this is facts because I find myself legitimately asking, where and how can I watch movies Ozawa san has been in? because there's just something about his presence that's iconic
A legend in the Japanese gangster/noir genre. Man oozes charisma & ferocity all at the same time! Definitely one of the coolest antagonists in the Yakuza series hands down.
I'm honestly so glad he gave him the credit he was due because he was honestly right about everything Kuze was truly one of the seris most popular and memorable charecters.
As a new yakuza fan (well since 2017 since y0) and i think i am one of those international kuze fans.. i guess its the time fore to play this game WHOLEFULLY because i can enjoy it to the fullest without comparing it to the origianal
@@TheGamingBacklog0They even said he went to prison and we all know how reliable prisons are in Yakuza. I thought that was a Chekhov's gun for him coming back for sure.

Im excited to see you play this, also excited to play it in general lol
You have to play this right when it comes out
BUT KUZE LOOKS SO OLD NOW :(
Love this guy
@@RaTcHeT302 he always has been, since Zero. A little bit of silver won't stop him, though. He's made different like that.
Yakuza 0 was the landmark title for the series in the West, and Kuze was a massive contributing factor to it's popularity. So, kudos to Mr. Ozawa.
Kuze and people being able to play as Majima for his starring role.
Seeing the Mad Dog break his leash and go on a rampage at the Tojo clan.
its popularity*
The contraction "it's" is short for the phrase "it is". "its" (without an apostrophe) is an actual word.

Cool as hell to see Ozawa-san back in the booth for this series. Created a legendary character in just one game in Y0.

There are few cooler than Hitoshi Ozawa.
When he doesnt look like he's gonna stab you, he looks humble, like a regular guy.
I cant wait to meet all the characters again in this new setting :0
Also huge thanks for the subtitles Sega!

The legend himself! My heart stopped when I saw the thumbnail. :D
I would really hope for Kuze to get his own game or at least spin off. All the Lieutenants from 0 were very interesting
And just like that it moves to the top of my pre order list.
