#1 South Carolina Gamecocks (21-0 / 9-0 SEC) Are Home in Columbia, SC to Put Their Undefeated Record on the Line, and Continue Southeastern Conference Play Against the Missouri Tigers (11-11 / 2-7 SEC).
In this Twenty-Second Game of SC's 2023-2024 Season, the #1 Gamecocks Face SEC Opponent, the Missouri Tigers, for the 2nd Time This Season.
The Gamecocks Are Looking to Win Their 41st Consecutive SEC Win (Going Back to 2022), and with a Win in this Game they Would Gain Sole Possession of the 2nd Longest Win Streak in SEC History.
(They Are Now Tied for 2nd Best in SEC History with 40 Straight SEC Wins with Tennessee Who Also Had 40 Straight Wins From 2001-2005, and Currently Own the SEC Record with 42 Straight Conference Wins From '91 to '96.)
This 10th Conference Game of the Season for SC will be Without the 2023 National "Sixth Woman of the Year" Kamilla Cardoso (Out for 2 Games to be With the Brazilian National Team), and Features a Very Talented, Highly Touted Roster of Young Players for the Gamecocks, Who Will Face a Missouri Team Led by Hayley Frank and Ashton Judd.
So Far This Season The Gamecocks Are Averaging 89.1 Points Per Game, While Holding Their Opponents to Just 54.3 PPG (A Nation Leading Scoring Margin of 34.8 PPG), Are 4th in the Nation in Bench Points Per Game with 33.9, and Are Leading the Nation in Blocks with 8.5 Blocks Per Game (179 Total)!
The Gamecocks Have Been Very Impressive this Season, with Five of Their Wins Coming Against AP Top 25 Teams (4 in the Top 15), Scoring Over 100 Points in Two of the Four Top 15 Games.

Great Game To Watch.... I Did Notice At Some Point LayLay And Watkins Was Confused On Who Was Defending Who.They Gotta Make Sure They Arent Slopping Like That Playing UConn Or Any Other Team. 1st period was very sloppy in the first 5 minutes. They can't let that happen against UConn or they''ll find themselves down by double digits instead of 6-0 and will have a much tougher hill to climb. Aside from that, the aggressive play, stellar defense, and 40 points off the bench made for some fun BB to watch.

Great game tonight....Mizzou literally did not have a chance coming into the game even with their leading scorer. UCONN will score points, but will likely lose the game against S.C....they are simply not the same team as they had been in the past going only 7 deep off the bench.
