As soon as I saw Déja get in front of Watkins on purpose so she would run into her then had the audacity to push Watkins and complain to the refs I knew how this game was going to be.

Yup unc was complaining to the refs all gm long..hahaha refs called alot of ticky tack fouls on gamecocks but we overcame it hahaha

Fulwiley is a talented player and will be a Gamecock great however she has to be trained how to prepare and to produce within the scheme of the team. Missing transition defense assignments and poor decision with taking shots are areas she has to work on. This is normal for a freshman. She will adjust but she has to learn the principles of time and score and letting the game come to her while playing strong team defense. Love her game and she will grow from this experience.
I was scared there but we held on til the last minutes. And we need this to happen to know that everyone that steps on the floor is a competitor. Thanks Robbie you’re the best.
I ain't scared for them bc it brings out the best, make'em show up and play. The gangsta, the grit and the determination is what I love to see come out. From here on out, its on... Sure it was a hard game game, but it was needful, bc it exposes the flaws to make changes and it makes them eager and hungry for the W.
Cardoso was sooo wrong for that look towards Deja 🤣🤣

Thank you sharing.... This was good, I love great games and a lil compact contact competition, this was good for them. Esp Cardoso gangsta coming out a few times, one at 1:20:45 . Dawn was smart not playing Fulwiley for the long haul, sure it would have been great to see her. It's crazy that people want to see SC downfall. All it does is make them play harder, if anyone want to be the best, show up and play'em... bc all that talking, lip and jaw action is for the birds. I want to know the names of all of the referees. I believe that there should be a review of the game. The Gamecocks were treated unfairly.
Im rewatching this game and noticing Deja is very petty. Trying to trip Raven after she tipped that ball and trying to drag Kardoso down after the block and positioning herself in front of Watkins to get the bump, just petty

I expect nothing more from UNC than what #25 and #1 tried do with all the pushing.
The goal was to provoke them to fight so that they would be ejected. SC bench is deep.
North Carolina enjoyed the homecourt advantage and bias officials but South Carolina still won

I want her to win so bad but defensively she should be an animal. She let a freshman beat her out for a starting role
exactly smh. more energy on the bench being a cheerleader than when she’s actually on the floor. i was rooting for her to start but i see no improvement.
I can't get out of my head Dawn saying she was the most talented forward in the program. She is an elite talent, and I hope it comes together cause it's only defense. I never saw it until the last few games. I want more for her, and I'm starting to think we're the wrong program.

They only gave techs for the people that were most upset on the court. And the reason it happened is bc Kelly got in Watkins way on purpose while she wasn’t looking then proceeded to push her. Because Utsby also pushed Watkins as well. They could’ve gave a tech to 4 people instead of 2.
