This is the only team I have nothing to say about. The Gamecocks are really good, and they've kind of been acting as the litmus test to where teams are.
Mississippi State was battling out against Clemson today 81-78, and South Carolina beat Clemson like a drum.
Mississippi Valley State at least got 47 points on LSU (which ties them with Texas Southern as the cupcake team who had the worst outing against the Tigers.). South Carolina absolutely embarrassed this team today. The low bar of expectation for any team is to at least win a game of 21 if you're losing bad... Held to 19.
I'm starting to wonder if this team will ever have to win a close one... I'm not really being serious about that last statement. They'll likely face a little adversity this year, but at the moment they're looking like March is going to be a cruise control kind of month.

The only team I'm worried about this season with LSU self imploding is Iowa. Clark gave us trouble last year and she hasn't slowed down this season. I'm stayin' confident though, go GC!
@@lawzlive Last season seems to get thrown out a lot regarding a lot of teams, but realistically teams are not the same as they were a year before. Iowa is not the same team as the year before, so it forces Clark to score more because she has to in order for the team to be successful (Their team talent is a little less than the year before.) Juju Watkins is in a similar boat in USC, and Paige Bueckers is finding herself in this position at UConn all of a sudden. Don't let big numbers from Clark fool you, Iowa is not that good. The Trojans are a better brand of basketball, and their chances against South Carolina are not that favorable, unless Marshall becomes more of a complete scorer in the paint... and even still their chances are not that good. One thing South Carolina is damn good at is defense, and Iowa played K-State who is a pretty decent defensive team. Iowa was legit struggling, but it didn't help that no other player could break loose against K-State's d other than Clark (who was struggling badly, and only got over 20 because she took the majority of the shots) It would have been a blow out if Kansas State played better offensively (I watched that game, and it was a mess on both sides. Also saw Iowa's game against VA Tech, and the Hokies defense is not that good.) If you're worried about Iowa, then you'll be surprised when better teams perform well against the Gamecocks, and have you with an incorrect notion that South Carolina is not as good as you thought.

Why aren't they playing any away game yet?
Technically, the first game against ND was away because it was in Paris France.
It's pretty typical for many teams to play their early season games at home, but when you play home/away series like Clemson and Maryland, this year just happened to be SC's home year.
The smaller schools come to the larger school's arenas because they get a big payout from the host school and make most of their revenue off of those types of games.
After the last 4 home games, the next two are on the road, back to back vs North Carolina and Duke, home for one and then December has more road games than home.
