Thank you so much for this video, reminds me a little of New York City, but Kampala looks like a lot more fun to walk through. This is the best type of video you could possibly have taken, a normal days walk, thank you again !
That's the business center, what do you expect. A walk from that side is a quiet and beautiful uganda as well. All countries have that area. Dubai does as well so give Ug a bresk
Nice video I have watched it from beginning to the end. I thought you had recorded it in clips. It’s really great work and great skill to do that. Thanks.
I salute the people who made this video. I have always wanted a video like this. Best video shoot of the year so far. But i hate Uganda never to return dead or alive
Wow our beautiful downtown! ❤ We walk through those streets almost every week. Everything is cheap downtown of Kampala👌. Thank you for showing the world what we got.
Kizito George William been years since I,ve been home...this summer I just can't wait 😍...I miss everything BK home...empewo ekufuyira wano nebula okumanyulako obukowekowe....omusana here is lugelo!!!😃
i've walked thru downtown L.A. population 4mil and it's no where near this many people on the streets WTF Kampala population is 1.5 mil and i think they are all on the street lol
Thing about Africa is that we actually have a life outside buildings, unlike life in most of the Western world. We also happen to be more naturally adhered to communal living, unlike out there where it is more singular... That should explain why you are able to see out outside in Africa and very few to none in the western world.
Hahaha, Kampala Population at day time is over 3M, hence the congestion. Just so you know, most people reside in neighboring towns like Mukono, Entebbe and Wakiso but work in Kampala during day time
Lol I was born in Uganda Kampala and raised in the US. IAM sure there not all on the streets but I always wonder why everything looks so dirty. In south Africa there so many nice places but Uganda just doesn't look very appealing some places look like skid row
It reminds me Chicago when I arrived here in the 1980s before gentrification. Still today, many areas of Chicago remind me of what I see in this video, not bad.
wow,i liked very much.i want visit kampala in june 2019.so many beautyfull woman in kampala.wy there is no bars and restaurant in this street? greetings from germany.
Hotel city square even in 2020 still only 60.000 u/s. Perfect location Kampala Road nekesero, market cafes restaurant, bars etc Centenary bank next door.Again Paul your comments 100%
Gracias por compartir esta caminata. Estoy emocionada. No solo sera un sueño. Ire muy pronto. Primeramente mi Senor Jesucristo. Desde de Mexico le mando un fuerte abrazo . Dembowski .
Wow, what a metropolis. So many people. How did you decide where to go? Did you just follow random people, or you had a map? How do you not get lost over there as a foreigner? It's so dense!
Hi thanks for sharing your videos. Please advice which is the safest cities to travel among Nairobi, Kampala and Addis Ababa. Secondly which city is good for cheap and best nightlife. Finally, if you been to kabalagala, can we find budget accommodations there? Thanks- mujeeb.
Im in Kampalaga now, staying at Hotel Kenrock in Muyenga. The location is great, rooms are ok. 50,000 per night for double, 41000 for Single. You can also try Hotel City Square, think it is 70,000 a night. Will do video on budget hotels next month...Nightlife in Nariobi is very good, Kampala is even better.
Amazing but new people should know that we got many cities such as fort portal, Jinja Mbarara, kasese, Gulu, Arua and others which are not congested at all everyone has enough space !🤷♀️
Mr. Paul. Were you in Uganda for business of pleasure? If pleasure how did you find it and is the hotel you are staying at feel safe to you? I really want to visit but I need to do some business from India,Please let me know i am interesting to visit Uganda.Any one my friends want to visit India ,it is my pleasure and most welcome.
Hi, I can work from anywhere using my laptop, I own a software company and can do everything over the internet. I have never felt unsafe at Kampala, even at night time.
Am enjoying this video, Chicago looked so similar before corporate developers and the mega corporations that we all know razed up most neighborhoods and avenues, there were small stores selling all kinds of wares, and vendors, all independent owners !, but then big box sharks appeared, with their high efficiencies and cost cutting, and " there went the neighborhoods ". You win some things... you lose some others....
Angelina K. No not necessarily, but still it is good because it's shows that other people care about your country. Plus it shows you are actual human beings *and not a pathetic internet troll like Desi here.*(seriously get a life, trolling is not even funny unless if it's clever)
Sorry but Internet Trolls Do Not use their Real Names, I Do. And I am expressing MY OPINION. You wouldn't know a REAL Internet Troll If it came over to your house and ate your face.
there are quite a few small "hole in the wall" restaurants in that area. Many of them are in small malls which I did not go into.. If you look hard you can see a couple..
HumanToMars No, they shouldn’t accept them all, and they don’t and won’t. They accept legal immigrants and refugees. The population of African and middle eastern people has increased by less than 1 percent in the last 20 years, and even if there where more, that wouldn’t be a bad thing. We live in a free world, people can migrate to wherever they like, and many refugees from the middle east are forced to leave or risk dying. And 3000 billion?? What the hell are you talking about? There are 7.5 billion people on the whole planet. I feel like this must be a joke comment because of how badly wrong you are about everything you’ve said.
looks like you are in denial of empirical data and existing trends. From 1991 to 2011, the % of whites in London went from 79% to 59%. With the birth rate of native Britons falling to levels well below the replacement mark (but being still high for immigrant families), you can extrapolate the numbers for the decades to come and arrive at the conclusion of the OP that London will be very "non-white" in the near future (not as soon as 2030, but that clearly was said sarcastically). It is not racist, you simpleton. It is reality.
Thank you for the ride through the town. I always wanted to go there. One day I'll visit this place.
what amazing video, loved it,,,,,,,much appreciated,,,,,what a change when i was there in 1970's
This video made me feel like I am right there in Kampala, I miss home.

Hi nice video. I would also like to film kampala even in the ghettos without attracting to much attention. What video camera did you use?
Just use a GoPro or small action camera, they have mounts so you can attach it to your chest, hand, backpack etc...
thanx
Wow, what a metropolis. So many people. How did you decide where to go? Did you just follow random people, or you had a map? How do you not get lost over there as a foreigner? It's so dense!

I miss it too!!! But this must have been taken early in the morning before the people were moving...
As I recall it was around lunchtime.
Almost the whole video is showing somebody's back in front of the camera. This makes it difficult to see anything.
