What Kampala lacks in terms of infrastructural developments it makes up for with an abundance of trees / greenery (natural beauty). In a decade or so at this rate of development, Kampala could be a real metropolis!

I've been to several cities with organized downtowns. The city of Toronto had an organized downtown. Kigali has an organized clean down town, Even Dublin is organized in their downtown. So please let's define disorganized because Kampala downtown is next never disorganized.

If you had a proper public transport system with the infrastructure to match, bodas wouldn't crop up. Now mix that with poverty and unemployment, and bodas will thrive. The streets of Kampala were not built for bodas, it's only newer roads that are being built with space for them. They have them in Kigali but do you hear anyone complaining about them over there? No! I'll repeat, think bigger!
@@tealsquare Bodabodas can work in the outskirts or greater Kampala, they don't have to come in central. It will decongest the city and make it more orderly. KCCA needs to provide a better bus / public transport system.
It would be a beautiful city! But why don't they create more decent jobs, so as to eliminate those unnecessary motorcycles and taxis. Then I would recommend that the autobuses be introduced in all parts of the city.
Personally I think Kampala is a better city compared to Kigali if the city fathers fix the roads and try to get the bodabodas organised or even introduce a convenient commuter transport and introduce city parks.Kampala only lacks organisation.
From what i know, the flyover project is far from done. It has phases, the first being the clock tower phase (one shown in the video) This phase is almost done. The 2nd phase is widening Mukwano road and flyover at Kitgum house junction
NAGURU SUMMIT VIEW ROAD IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ROAD. ACCORDING TO THIS VIDEO TOYOTA IS THE KING OF THE ROAD IN UGANDA AND BAJAJ WHEN IT COMES TO MOTORCYCLES.
The only issue is that people aren't supposed to walk on the highway. They are supposed to walk on normal roads but not on the highways. I know in Africa it's legal, but in Europe, Asia and The United States, its forbidden for people to walk on the highways.
Quiet, clean, lots of modern areas, this is honestly beyond my expectations. This is wonderful, great work Uganda.
