Robot has a clone body of rex and he takes his name after his death, even if its not robot its a hint towards what’s happening next season in invincible war because rex doesn’t survive the war and robot takes his name right after so i highly doubt its rex especially since he seems pretty smart it seems like robots personally still thats why he wore the armor suit so mark wasn’t completely confused why rex is robot😭
Season 2 went absolutely nuts. So many viceral and emotional moments. "I thought you were stronger" just hits incredibly hard. I'm really excited for season 3.
Rex surviving a headshot isn't impossible. In 2007 a Florida man once woke up with a headache and after seeing doctors it turns out his own wife shot him with the gun he bought her. The tip of the bullet was aiming upwards diagonally
A woman was shot by her husband in the head with a low-caliber bullet after which he fled the scene. She thought he'd missed because she blacked out and then came to minutes later upon which she called the police who arrived shortly to her getting some coffee ready. Turns out she had been shot clear in the forehead, the bullet passing through the halves of her brain which dealt minimal damage to her.
yeah first time I watched I even thought "ain't no way he's dead" because I noticed they purposefully put the bullethole on the very upper part of his head. Were they actually gonna kill him I would assume they would make the bullet go directly through his forhead
I love the fact that the title screen is literally the dried up blood from season 1 cracking and falling off, only to reveal a different title screen showing how all that blood has forever changed Mark/Invincible...the bright yellow is gone replace with all black lettering.
I love how Omni man tried to kill himself and saving others is what stopped him i truly believe he doesnt want to be a Vilrimite underneath it all after the time he spent on earth and because of Mark
In the earlier episodes, Debbie said she taught Nolan how to save others. So to follow your lead, he was saved by the way Debbie taught him, and he found meaning in it. But didn’t realize until the end of the season that no matter who or what he saves, he put the person who embraced him first to suffer. He wanted or needed to see her again
For the part about his powers being diminished underwater, Nolan said that Viltrumites can make leverage anywhere, even on/in air. Which is why their punches were so effective in air, not only their strength, but also the leverage allows them to go full force anywhere.
Never seen a reaction from you guys before but I've been binging Invincible finale reactions. Glad RUclips put you in the mix. I like that you guys stop and discuss throughout

The only reason I hated Amber in S1 was because she got mad and yelled at Mark when he ran off to get his suit and help them during the cyborg fight. Which would be valid of her imo, but the fact that she somehow knew that Mark was Invincible while this was going on and still got mad is what annoyed me But yeah, the teenager argument is also very valid lol
I'm convinced she didn't know anything until the last minute, and acted mad to cover up the fact that she felt stupid. Mark being Invincible is one of those realizations that makes you feel dumb for not realizing it sooner. Would make more sense than her knowing for weeks and then being pissed because he kept his secret identity...a secret.
I didn’t like her because of her very first phone call with mark. “oh you’re terrified of me.” etc etc and just being obnoxious. obviously it’s the writing but still. that’s insufferable.
Nah it had to be Rudy still, cause Eve's roughly the same age as Rex, yet she was clearly older than the dude in the Robot suit. Maybe Rudy just took Rex's name to honor him cause he didn't make it or somethin'.
@@namishjain9238 nah but I’ve been meaning to! I really just peep things here and there from Tik Toks, but the comics were always tempting to get into 🤔
Spoilers obviously, but first off it is now an alternate timeline so "Rex"/Rudy whatever you want to call him is probably not as dictating and "evil" as he is in new timeline, and thecolbatspider is right lol. He does honor Rex by changing his name. Unfortunately, he puts a shit ton of dirt on his name, and it is pretty disappointing as someone who loves Rex's character, lol. (It was also "already" confirmed that Jason is going to continue voicing him as Rudy grows, which makes sense.)
Btw that mummy scene we saw the shriveled up dude open that tomb at the beginning of season 1 episode 3 I think when mark was being trained by Omni man but as soon as the mummy rose up mark was flying too close to the sand and he shut the tomb door back up by the wind lol pretty funny lol
You guys picked up on Nolan’s books being secret things in the universe that could harm Viltrumites a lot faster than I did, but then again I also picked up on the first episode intro being a different dimension so I guess we’re even
Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but the whole "animating takes soooo long" comes straight from the comics. Obviously when it *was* in the comics, it was about cutting corners when illustrating. So when they adapted that scene, they just altered to to fit animation. Isn't that fun?? ALSO: The Spiderman esc character was actually Spiderman in the comics! Obviously, they changed it for the show cause either they didn't care enough to get the rights/couldn't. But the voice actor for the Amazing Spiderman show appeared in that episode to voice "Spiderman" (and that jogger fun fact)
I was good with Amber until she went off on Mark for "abandoning them" at the college attack when she claims she knew he was a super hero. That said, I got over it. Lol
Regarding Amber here's a timeline of events over their breakup weekend, that turned people so hard: Squad goes to college tour. Reanimen attacks, Mark leaves to save people. Amber loses her mind that Mark left, completely justified(if she wasn't lying which she was). Mark stops a super villain. They go home and immediately breakup Amber, "I figured it out weeks ago", as in before this tour she already knew. So Amber is smart enough to figure it out, but dumb enough to not question why Mark hasn't told her. Which this season highlights why Mark's identity being secret is so important. She also lied about their fight the entire weekend because she knew why Mark ran away. Irony she breaks up with him because he lied So in 1 episode and 3 minutes she became the dumbest smart person on the show. In the comics, Amber breaks up because she thinks he's dealing. When she figures it out she confonts Mark and forgives him, like a normal person would. The show did a good job of rehabilitating her in S2 though, kudos to them. Sub points from a reader's standpoint: 1) worth noting her arc is one of the least liked in the comics so all the readers were ready to rush past it. 2) the changes to the character, (smart quirky social-worker/politically-engaged), is a character type that devastated the Arrowverse, Felicity/Iris/Alex/Jennifer, all would do things that were dumb/terrible things and the show would treat them like they were correct. Which is what the show did with Mark pre Omni man fight. And I imagine a high portion of invincible readers tuned into early seasons of the arrowverse. 2b) Kirkman is not 100% when adapting his own story. I like the WD novels, and hated Daryl, a show character, they skipped Tyreese for a long time which ruined his story when they brought him in, Michonne got too much screentime too fast, the anti Tyreese. Tyreese, Carl, Michonne were my favorite characters in the books all of their arcs were devastated from the books.
this is pretty much exactly what i would say if someone asked me to discuss what i thought about amber and yes you were also spot on about the arrowverse 😂 at least in the arrowverse the gf didnt make the hero feel shitty for doing his duty. they were just like, "i cant deal with the secrets" (which is very cliche imo, but better than amber) s2 amber is genuinely a good person and if s1 amber didnt exist i would probably feel bad during the breakup instead of cheering 😭
He might've taken on Rex's identity after his death since he's an adult now and has the literal same genetics. A lot can happen in 20 years so I could be wrong, but I doubt Rex would ever be the tech guy of the Guardians and his temperament in that scene is more like Rudy. Its hard to tell since the difference would be like less than 10 years, but "Rex" looks like a man in his 30's more than 40's.
@@h3nTaiLopezcould go either way with it being the show. Rex is showing a lot of growth and thought, and despite him having Rudy’s dialect, his voice is a lot closer to how Rex sounds.
I was wanting Cecil to respond to mark when he said you weren't there. Like don't let the bad corrupt on who you want to be and see the good that you can spread around the world on what you can do. You're invincible, right. But it's okay this was a really good season.
One of my favourite aspects of Invincible is how it knows which tropes to play straight, and which tropes to subvert or dissect. The superhero genre started as a power fantasy. Superman was a combination of extreme power and perfect morals that allowed for justified violence. And we've seen dozens of "what if Superman was evil" stories that try to deconstruct the morality of violence and power, but none discuss the topic as well as stories like Invincible, which ask "what if Superman was human?" Invincible doesn't offer a power fantasy. Often Mark's strongest moments of morality in the show are the moments when he's getting his ass handed to him but refusing to back down. These scenarios are an inverse of your classic "Superman beating up a villain" moments, and they do a fantastic job of questioning our notions of righteous violence. Mark isn't Invincible, but he IS extremely durable, and you can only hit someone so many times before it starts getting hard to justify.
Though it would be incorrect to characterize Superman as being a perfect paragon of virtue, absent of any flaws. His best stories are when he abides by his moral code & tries to choose the best outcome when confronted by difficult decisions that would be so easy to solve if he simply let go of caring about morality and being a kind, compassionate person. That's why he's a hero: he's the exception to the maxim "absolute power corrupts absolutely." And it's why I don't really like evil Superman stories or characters like that, because they miss the point of the struggle of choosing to be good in the face of situations where it would be very easy to do wrong. "What if Superman killed?" is only interesting insofar as the shock value. "How does Superman choose not to kill?" is much more compelling, imo.
They actually did have a batman like that once for a short while. Where people were pretending to be villains to humor bruce. It was a Batman funeral thing or something

I think people hated that she blew up at him asking where he was during the campus fight but she revealed that she knew for weeks that he was invincible.
Oliver isn't an anomaly, Angstrom just didn't visit any realities where Mark was good, so in those realities, Omni-man never left Earth, never saved the Thraxans, and never had Oliver.
36:50 can’t believe I’ve only just realised but the two people hanging up are the two criminals Darkwing stopped before Omni-Man killed him 😳 Damn that’s a shitty way to go out
Omniman is a couple thousand yrs old so if you think about the pet line it's more about life spans than her being a pet pet. It's like us and dogs we live so long to them it might as well be thousands of years
No one mentioned how Omni had his fists bawled when Mark went to hug him. Omni was ready for Mark to attack him, not hug him. He may of had his hand out in an exchange of peace, but he seemed completely fine with the reaction of Mark getting violent and even anticipated for it to be the act mark did by bawling his fists. The hug was not the first thing Omni thought of it considered. Definitely keeps you questioning Omni's character and train of thinking.
I think the Mark with the yellow cape(no spoilers) is like the most vile because I do not see the other alternate Marks(like the one who was convinced they were doing good) being sadistic like what he did to the kid Did mark cause that sandstorm
We see Angstrom fall through a portal lol. Then there is a clear transition to universe prime lol. I'm surprised y'all missed all the details of it being an alternate universe 😅
I think that was Rex in the suit cause they actually said the name Rex. Whereas Robots name is Rudy short for Rudolph 🤔 not that'll matter cause Mark makes his return and events should play out differently anyways
The real reason people hate amber is because she committed a cardinal sin of media, she was annoying for a bit. No matter what they do with her now, people will always remember her being annoying.
People didnt like amber because she apparently knew mark was invincible and that he didnt actually leave her at the college when the cyborg attacked. She knew he came back to save everyone as invincible. But gave him shit anyway. Acted like he just ran away. The reason she was mad at Mark doesnt make sense if she knew he was invincible.
its such a shame that like... the dr strange guy literally causes the one good Mark that doesnt want to kill pushes him to .... bloody his hands and kill ironic.... and sad..
Dr. Synclare is SUCH a tragic character... he was SO CLOSE to creating a utopia, only for it to be undone because he was TOO good. I at-least take comfort in the understanding that if this show's multiverse is infinite, there ARE other universe-jumping Synclares who DID succeed in making their dimension-spanning utopia. The multiverse is just so huge, they likely won't ever reach this Synclare's universe.
I still dont like Amber because she got mad at someone she JUST started dating because he didnt want to tell her his secret identity. Thats a big deal u tell someone after years if ur comfortable or not at all if u can keep them separate, Mark has the right to his privacy and she was rude asf just because she figured it out doesn't mean she can be a jerk, even just a little bit, IF ANTHING she should have been MORE understanding.
Anissa isn't stronger than Nolan lol Also you guys talked over a lot of interesting or key points. The future version of the gaurdians that save Mark, as he leaves and the guy the the robot is talking, Eve says "Shut up Rex!". That wasnt Rudy
@@sortastupid whattttt damn ok another reaction channel i like recently lost a member also whyyyyyy is this happening 🥲 not actually askin it’s not my business but damn
The level of Amber hatred expressed by folks last season was goofy. "How DARE this _teenager_ express irrational emotions!" Y'all, she was upset that Mark didn't tell her he was a superhero because it made her feel like he wasn't taking their relationship seriously. Does that make logical sense? Hell no. But it 100% makes EMOTIONAL sense. That doesn't make her evil, just human.
It's like a 1000 times worse than that, though. The whole time she acted like she should be the most important thing in his life. And when it turns out she's known for a while he was a superhero and saving people that meant she thinks she should be more important to him than him saving people. That's what really pissed people off. She always came off as a narcissistic manipulator and the "writing error" (according to the creators of the show) of her knowing he's a superhero made her one of the most hated characters I've ever seen.
36:33 So the official reason why the name of the comic changed from "Bulletproof" to "Invincible" was because Image Comics had published a comic called Bulletproof Monk back in 1998, which then got a movie adaptation around the same time Invincible was coming out.
My favorite part of the angstrom beat down was when he tried pushing marks fist away and mark just shoved it and kept going. Angstroms attack on marks family is a lot less messed up on the comic. Here? I don’t think mark did anything wrong. Angstrom was like a mass shooter pointing a. Gun at your family. Mark did nothing wrong

Oh my god at 2:52:47, when mark comes out of the portal he has a weapon skin from Fortnite, since he has a skin collab with them !
Going in knowing this was gonna be a multiverse season made the start way less confusing lmao
We see Angstrom fall through a portal lol. Then there is a clear transition to universe prime lol.
I'm surprised y'all missed all the details of it being an alternate universe 😅
Their channel name is Sorta Stupid, it checks out
I don’t think y’all noticed this, but Mark Hamill voiced Art (The costume designer)
We noticed in season 1 😂
I think that was Rex in the suit cause they actually said the name Rex. Whereas Robots name is Rudy short for Rudolph 🤔 not that'll matter cause Mark makes his return and events should play out differently anyways
It's Rudy if you know the comics
No one in the comments mentioned that dude at 3:03:32 looks like Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living from ThunderCats!
season 4 and 5 are both greenlit too so dont worry too much after season 3 because they are trying to make these high quality and fast as possible
The real reason people hate amber is because she committed a cardinal sin of media, she was annoying for a bit. No matter what they do with her now, people will always remember her being annoying.
2:35
That what was the most what I ever heard him do
People didnt like amber because she apparently knew mark was invincible and that he didnt actually leave her at the college when the cyborg attacked. She knew he came back to save everyone as invincible. But gave him shit anyway. Acted like he just ran away. The reason she was mad at Mark doesnt make sense if she knew he was invincible.
Am I the only one thinks Ruff and SeeOhKnee both look like different variants of KennyBeats?
They literally talked over the part where they explained that was future Rex 🤦
That was not rex. It was Rudy taking his name after he died in that timeline
its such a shame that like... the dr strange guy literally causes the one good Mark that doesnt want to kill pushes him to .... bloody his hands and kill ironic.... and sad..
The multiverse is just so huge, they likely won't ever reach this Synclare's universe.
... You're talking about Angstrom, right? Not.. Not the fucking cyborg guy. Right???
@@SereneLeskovsky he most definitely is 😭
Brudda big-brain is Angstrom Levy. DA Sinclair is the creator of the reanimen, the cyborgs in S1E6.
Black samsons voice actor is the same as Cyborg
Bro that principal can't smile, his lips are too thick.
goddamnnnnittttt y’all commented on bullet proof getting the suit mark turned down i shoulda waited to say som on ur reaction to season 1
Why didn't marc leave his brother to cecil
Channel names fits you three 😂
Pretty sure against Angstrum, Mark said "I thought you were stronger" in reference to himself. That he couldn't hold himself back.
I feel like you guys should do watch the truman show if you guys have never seen it
I still dont like Amber because she got mad at someone she JUST started dating because he didnt want to tell her his secret identity. Thats a big deal u tell someone after years if ur comfortable or not at all if u can keep them separate, Mark has the right to his privacy and she was rude asf just because she figured it out doesn't mean she can be a jerk, even just a little bit, IF ANTHING she should have been MORE understanding.
start: 0:00 end: 3:08:12
Where's the 4th one of you guys? (The Discord Mod)
I read the comic, and holy moly, the things that are going to appear on the season three are just much more intense than anything they've showed us
Awesome video.
Anissa isn't stronger than Nolan lol
Also you guys talked over a lot of interesting or key points. The future version of the gaurdians that save Mark, as he leaves and the guy the the robot is talking, Eve says "Shut up Rex!". That wasnt Rudy
If you read the comics, you'd know that is in fact Rudy
They bringing Fortnite into canon invincible
Where my boy Hman?
OMG xMEn 97 was amazing!
Yall got to watch psycho pass
32:28 predict
lawful neutral 5:48
damn hman ain’t watch any of season two wit y’all i miss him 😢
He’s no longer with the channel
@@sortastupid whattttt damn ok another reaction channel i like recently lost a member also whyyyyyy is this happening 🥲 not actually askin it’s not my business but damn
3:00:00 except eve flat out calls him rex
Bro when u gonna react to other Pokemon movies ????
No clue
3:00:00 she literally calls him Rex….
It's Rudy if you know the comics
If you want to react to transformers, I highly recommend the transformers prime animated show, it has a lot voices you might recognize 😁
Since you love this, you guys would love The Boys, please do a reaction
2:03:22 LOL
I was crying 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The level of Amber hatred expressed by folks last season was goofy.
"How DARE this _teenager_ express irrational emotions!"
Y'all, she was upset that Mark didn't tell her he was a superhero because it made her feel like he wasn't taking their relationship seriously.
Err guys…pssst…come ere….watch a bit of the show first…it explains it to you…lololol
OMG you guys need to watch the movie INVINSIBLE ADAM EVE
aTOm eve ffs
@@namishjain9238 what?
@@MomokaViixiv her name is atom eve
My favorite part of the angstrom beat down was when he tried pushing marks fist away and mark just shoved it and kept going.
Angstroms attack on marks family is a lot less messed up on the comic.
Here? I don’t think mark did anything wrong. Angstrom was like a mass shooter pointing a. Gun at your family.
Mark did nothing wrong

They got it so wrong about the first episode, but I can kinda appreciate their theories. It shows investment in the story
