I think it was the right move. Even if those other great players become HoF, will they ever be regarded as highly as Mays and Aaron? Very cool Buster, especially after explaining it's significance
Love the dual auto of Mays and Aaron! Posey is my pc being a Giants fan and that 1 of 1 is so nice especially in a 10 grade. Worth what you gave up to get them.
When you showed the card you picked up I was very surprised. I was thinking why would you do that? Then you explained why and I get it now. Great stuff
Hi, I watched your video w/ Tpot ..about the CT scanners... I am also into collecting Gargage Pail Kids ...and buy boxes / packs... do you know if by chance ... these GPK sealed hobby boxes could have been compromised with regard to sketch cards, and artist auto's ? ? I'd appriciate it if you have any thought? thanks man
Hard to sell cards you love. I'm doing that currently to try to pick up a Jordan auto. For the same reasons you have for the dual... They are just legendary players
Good afternoon Scottie! My name is Stephen Meyer and I have found a 2014 Bowman 1st Black 97 of 99 Mookie Betts raw card. The owner is asking $600 for it. I cannot seem to find a comp for it. Could you please share your thoughts on what you think this card is worth?
Should hold that value in the long run....you gave up alot but hey..not like either one of those legends are signing anymore. You know what would have been cool? National Vlog... your perspective..your opinion about how it went down. By the way T-pot isn't scared of Geoff or repercussions...pass it on.
Awesome card....and from a stable investment piece, by far the soundest of all the cards involved. I would've struggled letting go of that Soto (that thing checks all the boxes), but I'd still be beyond thrilled with an Aaron/Mays dual on card auto. Touched by the baseball gods. Keep up the awesome work man! You and Spitballin crew keep this hobby fun
Cool card. Definitely think it was a savvy buy. I wouldn’t have gotten rid of that Soto red ink though. I think that card has a lot of long-term potential a better chance of going up
I can't say if it was a mistake in my mind you trading into historical cards which is where I like to be. The cards you traded will probably increase in value assuming they all make the Hall. But history...you can't beat that. Plus both have passed so there is a limited supply. I have a card with "game used" batt relics of Mantle, Mays, Frank Robinson and Eddie Matthews. It will never leave the collection because of its historic value.
Hey Scott, Awesome dual auto! I think you made the right choice even though that Gold Mookie is a true beauty! Arron and Mays are the goats and cemented in baseball history! I can see how easily you fell in love with this card, congratulations!
I forgot to ask, why did you need to grade this card so quickly at the National and pay ridiculous grading fee for a card going into your PC...? Thanks for the awesome card news and insight. I rip too much wax and trying to modify my collecting style, like you and just go after the singles of the guys you like, some potential HOF' and their more rarest cards. Cheers!
Hey! Great question. I wanted to get it graded in person for two reasons. 1. we initially were going to do the deal as friends and family and wanted to confirm the card was authentic before I sent the money since you can't get a refund. 2.I didn't want to ship the card to PSA. 3. I only paid $350 originally but the card was uncharged by PSA to $699. I had to pay that to get the card back. I have a bad habit of saying I will send the card for grading and then not doing it for 6+ months haha.
Stadium Club has had co-signers since 96 or 97. Originally they actually had one autograph on each side of the card, then switched to the current format the following year. But this might have been the first year they had retired players.
Willie Mays + Hank Aaron = 2, top 4 players all-time for me. Nice pickup!
One of the biggest scams in the hobby is that it costs more to grade a card with higher value. What a sham.
Especially in person bc their is no risk of the card being damaged in transit
Isn't this only a psa issue?
@@philcapenmsgamingsports SGC upcharges for Vintage cards valued over $2500
I completely agree. It cost me 115 bucks to get my Mahomes rookie #rd/49. It might get an 8 if I'm lucky.
@JonGeandreau-kg1kj again ur complaint about psa not graded cards.
Not a big auto collector… That gold mookie was so sick
That’s crazy! I was just in Island Park Idaho for 8 days while visiting Yellowstone.
I think it was the right move. Even if those other great players become HoF, will they ever be regarded as highly as Mays and Aaron? Very cool Buster, especially after explaining it's significance
Hank Aaron IS the home run king.
If I lived by Yellowstone, I would have very little time for cards.
Fantastic pickup!

Wow…the mays / Aaron dual auto is a dream card. You made the right choice, as those two our legends. Love the Posey card as well.
When you showed the card you picked up I was very surprised. I was thinking why would you do that? Then you explained why and I get it now. Great stuff
Beautiful cards imo
Just think of all the Wander Franco cards that got graded. How much are they worth right now.
Sold some bangers but that is a beautiful legendary card. Didn’t know you went to the national. I don’t think you made any content while attending
1997 was first year for co-signers, sweet card though

Hall of Fame on card auto > just about anything else.
I'm curious why you paid $700 for the one day turnaround on the Aaron/Mays? Beautiful card 👏
Hey! I paid $350 and it was up charged by psa to $699 unfortunately
@@scottiebcards2354 ah, the glorious upcharge. But wait, why was it upcharged if they didn't have to insure it?

Curts card juice, jk
I usually unfollow people who have LeBron #2 all-time 🤔 I just don't get 🤦♂️😆

Great seeing you at the National and congrats on the epic dual auto! Let me know if you ever plan to move the Mookie gold refractor auto
Beautiful pickup - congrats! Glad to take ahold of that Purple Freeman to help you get the cash for the dual.

Nice cards Scott, great job!
You can’t go wrong with a Mays/Aaron dual auto. Very nice pickup!
That Soto though 😮
Good move 👌

Holy Cow I can’t even be mad at moving into this dual auto those are crazy clean bold autos!!! Well done 👏👏👏
That is a monster card. Two Hall of Famers from Alabama! That's exactly what I collect. Congrats!
Amazing Aaron/Mays card. Congrats!
I’ll take it for 8001
Epic! 😎
I'm terribly unimpressed that you drop 8 grand on a single card.
