You aren't paying for the value, you are paying for opportunity and possibility. Even if you were paying value, it's easy to critique the price after seeing the cards. It's like complaining that a losing lottery ticket is worthless. It's also basic economics, just like the "value" is a card. It doesn't matter what websites, books, appraisers, etc. say it's worth, it's worth what someone will pay you for it.

I dont collect but ive watched alot of these unboxing videos..It seems that the cards in that will be worth tons in 20yrs will only be found in 2500 dollar packs. Its a far cry from what kids were doing years ago.."Where did you get that?" Oh you had to spend 2500 a pack in 2023..Thats nuts lol
The Tripel Auto has to be a 1/1! That is the only one that I have ever seen with all these of those possible future Hall of Famers on the same card. The Cal Ripken Jr./Eddie Murray could of been a 1/1 has well. I do think that $2500 is a little too high for that product, I would like to see it around $1800 - $2000 max a box.
I could see topps charging $12,000 for this case in 2 years and $17,000 in 4 years and when there customers will finally say enough is enough and stop purchasing?
Ouch. For $7000, I would expect more. Yes the triple and double auto was cool as was the Bagwell, Clemens and Rivera autos also cool. But I want to see more old vintage hall of famers. Game used bats and jerseys from guys who played in the 50s, 60s and earlier. Cut autos of high level hall guys. This is the product that should have those items in it.
How can anyone afford to collect anymore. Im done. Enjoy, Im now donating all my sports cards to charity and getting out of this madness. Its no longer and frankly looking back over 30 years of collecting...was never worth it.

You don’t get reimbursed as the cost of the box is divided by the number of teams or cards prior to it being opened
